I love this CMM location! Not only is it super easy to make online reservations, but the staff is kind and helpful. On one visit, I was looking for a specific piece that they did not carry (single butter dish). I found something similar online and they ordered it for my next visit.

It was a great experience for me, my mom and sister! I really enjoy coming here! came here in June of 2023 in the summer since me and my sister didn't have school and wanted something to do! Then again in December of 2023 for my early birthday gift!! The girl with the curly hair helped us out very much in June and she's a sweetheart!! Then this other lady was amazing too(fortunately i forgot her name) that helped us out in Dec. I would definitely recommend this place!!

I really enjoyed my time at Color Me Mine. I have never been to a paint your own pottery place and wanted to check this out for something different to do while my mom was in town.I was easily able to make a reservation through their website for an $8 studio fee. This held my reservation and was removed from the bill at checkout.Upon arrival, we picked out our pottery. Each piece was individually priced. Most ranged from $30-$50. After picking out your piece, you'll select from multiple paint options. They give you selections of various brushes and other items to help design your piece. It takes after you do it get finished.I'm excited to see what my piece looks like after picking it up!!

Super fun to paint and had lots of choices! Only thing is when it got busy, took a while for someone to help. And prices are very expensive

This place is so crowded. As soon as you walk in you are practically bumping into everyone and everything. They are overbooking on the weekend or just have too many tables to make profit. We had to keep asking for colors and looking for people to ask questions. One guy was just standing at the register. One person was in the back. There was one guy helping everyone. Also, the lady in charge is passive-aggressive and mostly on the phone. We also felt rushed. I think if we had all the colors we needed we would have been done sooner. I did not enjoy going there. It was my first and last time there. There isn't anything that could be said to excuse any of it. What difference would it make knowing my name? this was my experience and my opinion.

Throughout the pandemic, I’ve been trying to find fun things for my 2.5yo to do. My coworker told me about Toddler Tuesdays and we LOVE them. We participate every month. We go in, pick up our stuff, take it home and drop it off when we are done! Everyone at Color Me Mine are so friendly and helpful. Even when all of this is over, I will still take my toddler in to paint!

Last November, purchased about 10 pieces and various paint vials to conduct a private party at a home, total cost was several hundred dollars. It required multiple trips to the store. On more than one occasion, the owner Johanna was rude to the extent I ended going to the Burr Ridge location to acquire additional paint to minimize my interaction. On one trip even my sister asked her if she had a bad day and she said she was tired from a party from the night before, but her attitude was an issue on multiple days. Her employees, Shea and Diego were great to work with. I will also say the pieces came out beautiful and in a timely manner.

Did not have a good experience, before the rest of my party showed up one of the employees kept joking that my friends weren’t coming and it wasn’t funny it was just weird. Then as we were painting the same employee kept joining our conversations and making rude remarks. I wouldn’t go back and I’d recommend going to a different location if you’re interested.

Awesome place to paint pottery for both kids and adults! They have a great selection of great items to paint and prices are very reasonable. Everyone here is extremely helpful and more than willing to make great suggestions and provide tips. The best part is the finished product always comes out better than expected. Definitely check them out!

Went there on a field trip with my class and the owner helped us. The first thing she does is push one of my students to hurry up by the way he is a special needs child. then yells at another one of my students that she heard him. She was not friendly at all. Had an attitude the whole time. Would not let the kids pick out the colors they wanted . We will never be going back there again. Be aware of the owner so rude!!!!!

Editing to respond to the owner as I can’t find any way to reply. It was on Monday, 9/5/22. So not a weekend but a holiday. We anticipated a wait seeing as we were walking in without an appointment. I’m not positive about the time but between 1 and 2pm. I did not get her name. The way we were standing her side/back was to me. I’m really not trying to get a specific person in trouble and as I said she seemed frazzled to begin with. I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt as she appeared quite young and maybe a bit overwhelmed. Maybe just a learning experience if she was just uncomfortable saying no or not now maybe in such and such time or something like that. Thank you for reaching out.My son was interested in having his birthday party here. So we stopped in to check it out. The girl who greeted us appeared quite frazzled. I asked if there were any openings (there were quite a few people there but a couple tables open which could have been reserved). She kept looking around seemingly quite agitated and after a very uncomfortable minute she asked well how many people in your group will actually be painting. I said all five. She again started looking around as if we were really an imposition. So after what seemed like an eternity I finally said it seems like you don’t have availability or maybe just don’t want our business so we can just leave. Her response was okay and she walked away. Guess we won’t be having his party there. ?
