I am natural now but Bonita’s sister burned my scalp with relaxer years ago when i lived in Illinois. in a way i am thankful. she’s the reason why i no longer get relaxers and my hair is long and healthy now

the place is nice and clean. the first time making an appointment for my daughter i had to go to the salon because i could not find their phone number. they do pass out business cards for each of the stylists. they do not accept credit cards. i was able to book an appointment for during the week, and was in and out in very short order with a great hair style for my daughter.

This is a very nice place. I have been passing by and didn't notice it. It was a little strange they didn't have a phone # listed. When I did find the number it was someone cell phone. I didn't expect to see clothes in a salon. Turn off. The stylist did a great job on my hair and very nice. I will go back. Get to find a black Owen salon out here..

I randomly googled this place because I needed a salon they was familiar with ethnic hair and I am so glad I did. They did beautiful job washing, blow drying, and cutting my nieces hair. She was pleased, I was pleased, her mother was ecstatic. This is a great place for natural hair, perms, extension and most important, all ethnicities. Thank you Bonita and Doral !

nice staff. the only salon i trust with my daughter's mixed race hair. but. ..they do suffer from bpt ,lol. I've never been in an African American salon that didn't, tho, so I'm used to it.

I wanted to write an updated review since it's been some time since one has been left, not to mention the amazing service I received when I went. First, I want to mention that I just moved to the area two months prior my visit. I was a little worried because it's not easy to find someone who can do ethnic hair that you can trust. After checking the reviews, I decided to give Bonita a call. Keep in mind that is Appointment based. She can do some walk-ins, but I highly recommend calling for an appointment. First impression was the warm atmosphere of the salon. I came in and felt more at ease. Then the icing on the cake was when I met Bonita and she is amazing! She is wonderful, warm and really cares about what you want. Not to mention that she is so positive that you get good vibes. I was happy to give her my trust and she did not disappoint. My hair came out wonderfully and better than what I expected. I also had the chance to meet her sister who is also just as wonderful. I will definitely be going back myself. If you are new to the area, or looking for a place that you can go to for hair with someone you can trust, I highly recommend going to Bonita's.
