Not sure why but the pick up customer service is rude here, other best buy locations I’ve been to have been way kinder. Maybe it’s because it was a Sunday, but shouldn’t be happening in general. I probably won’t come back to this location.

Terrible slow service, ordered for store pickup, took over the allotted time to finally pull my order. They complained they were short staffed with at least 10 employees doing nothing but looking at their phones. Never again at this store!!!!

I made my appointment over the phone. This was the worst experience dealing with a company in my life. It took 3.5 hrs just to get a hold of the person who could make my appointment. Putting in 3.5 hrs of my own personal time so a company can provide me a service is the most absurd idea to me, but it was for my daughters graduation. When I finally spoke to a representative who could help, she said my experience was normal and there was nothing she could do to fast track getting to her department. So, I notified her I had bought the Bluetooth Stereo with a Touchscreen from Amazon. I asked if this would be an issue for BestBuy to install. She said “no” because she put it in the notes and they’ll know before I arrive. I drove 65 minutes to this location to have the Bluetooth Stereo installed to be told, from the technician at the store, that they cannot install any systems that aren’t purchased from Best Buy. I told him what I was told by the representative over the phone and his response was “I don’t know why they would tell you that”. So, I spent nearly 5 hours trying to get a company to take my money and they are so disorganized they didn’t make any money. The worst experience of my life, as a card holder, for this company. I will be ending my relationship with Best Buy as soon as possible

Disappointing Experience with Defective Apple Laptop and Poor Customer Service
I recently purchased an Apple laptop from Best Buy, and unfortunately, it has been nothing but trouble. Shortly after the purchase, the laptop began glitching. I brought it in for service about a month ago, and they reset it, claiming it was fixed. However, the same issue has reoccurred.
When I returned to the store to address the problem again, I requested an upgrade to a different model, given the ongoing issues. To my dismay, they refused, stating it was past the return policy period. I find this incredibly frustrating because they chose to reset the laptop initially rather than allowing me to return or exchange it.
What made the experience even worse was the poor customer service. The Geek Squad employee, Merv, and the manager were not only unhelpful but also rude and insulting. As a long-time customer of Best Buy, this experience has been very disappointing.
I hope Best Buy will consider improving their customer service and return policies, especially when dealing with defective products. Customers deserve better treatment and solutions when they encounter faulty merchandise.

We had a great experience buying kitchen appliances at Best Buy. Their prices are excellent, and we are very impressed with customer service particularly in appliances as this was the second time we have bought several kitchen appliances at once (we have a rental). That team gets along very well and take the time to answer all your questions and match your needs to their products. but make sure you check a couple of other websites. .they do price match.

The stores are severely understaffed. It took me over an hour to get a few things that I had already picked out before coming in. I spent probably over half an hour just waiting for people to get to whatever section I was in.
The gentleman I worked with was great, but you need more than a handful of employees for a big store like that. Half of them were in mobile, leaving maybe 2 people for the entire rest of the store. Unacceptably poor staffing.
I'd say this is an isolated incident, but had the same experience at the Arlington Heights store on a Black Friday.

IF YOU GO TO THIS BEST BUY, THEY DO NOT PRICE MATCH! In the years gone by, we never had issues regarding the Best Buy locations. On Tuesday, May 21, 2024, a parent of mine decides to go to this Best Buy around lunchtime during her working hours to buy an Apple Watch as a gift. She needed assistance, and an employee named John told her to wait aside. As the minutes went by, nobody asisted. As she approached the counter, a girl told her that because they were short on staff, they could not help her. Sooner or later, the employee helps get her Apple Watch, but after wanting a price match with Walmart that my parents found, Employee John refused to admit or see a price match with the Apple Series. Constantly denying a price match and wanting her to buy at full price. As a customer is willing to buy at a price match at Best Buy, Why Best Buy? Because it's the best store for electronics. In the end, because Employee John was enforcing her to pay full price, she went to the competitor's side and paid full price. Not only did you lose a customer, but you handed another competitor more commission. As a person who enjoys going to Best Buy, frustrats me hearing a parent of mine was trying get advantage of an employee makes me furious. I believe that the Best Buy in Schaumburg should be re-trained, especially employee John. Whether you are shortstaffed or want things your own way, every store should be helping the customer, not wanting what's best for the employees only.

Best Buy always got the rare items in stock and with the pickup Instore option, it suppose to make it that much easier lol but not when they got a bunch of racist kids working there.
