Overcharged!!!
If you compare price with another shops around they charge triple. So they charged me $450 to replace starter (I bought starter) labor only, if you go anywhere around price will be $150, max $200.
Avoid this location.

Took my vehicle there after I did my emissions test & failed. I was told my car would be there for two days so they can inspect & fix the vehicle. I ended up waiting a whole week for nothing to be done. I had to keep calling to get an update on my vehicle & all they could do was push it back another day. I got fed up waiting so long & I was getting no answers from them didn’t seem like he care If had a vehicle or not. After waiting a week with no direction of what’s happening. I went to pick up the car they didn’t say anything to me at all just gave me my keys. Took the car to a mechanic in Elgin & he was able to fix the car the next day & pass the emissions test.

Once again an awesome experience. Went in for an oil change and also they found a broken emergency brake cable as well as a bad lug nut. Fixed all of it and then brought out the parts to show me and explain what had happened. He even brought out the oil bottles to show me the oil he put in per my request.I highly recommend this shop because you don’t find honest mechanics like him anymore.Services: Brakes

Gerry is honest, helpful, and patient. He did an excellent job of diagnosing the problem and repairing. He did not take advantage of an elderly senior citizen. Will definitely use again and highly recommend!
