She's the best-- I had her dry clean two coats for me and upon picking them up she said she would keep one to continue to try and get a large stain out. Days later, she called me, I went to pick it up and she not only got the stain out, but didn't charge extra for working on it further. Great lady, great work, great place.

Alpine cleaners in Schaumburg was recommended from a friend and I was very disappointed. They are pricey but was very disappointed when we had my husband and sons tucks And shirt where to get pressed and they never gave us the shirts back. Here we are busy with our daughters wedding to find out on the wedding day no shirts. We are downtown to find that they where missing from the suits and they blamed us. Thank goodness my husband brought a shirt for rehearsal dinner and my son had to go to buy a dress shirt which cost $40. Now here it is Monday and the owner said we should have checked and blames us and only gave my husband $4 then said I never give money back. Yes, we should have looked but when your super busy you assume everything is their and she knew it was for our daughters wedding. Everyone make mistakes but some times you need to be accountable as well. I will never use them again

Been coming here for 10 years and it is by far the best tailoring and dry cleaning service in Schaumburg. Christine is very friendly and has a quick turn around time and pricing if you need tailoring done.

Oct - 2019:I give Alpine Cleaners in Schaumburg AAA rating. Owner Christineprovides the very best in Dry Cleaning & Laundry along with Alterations and Repairs.I took my favorite 15-year-old leather jacket to Alpine Cleaners that had a big tear on the inside pocket where I carry my cell phone. Christine sewed up the tear, dry cleaned and dyed the jacket the same color and made it look new again. I picked it up today and it looks GREAT. Highly recommend ALPINE CLEANERS in Schaumburg. You’re in good hands with Christine.

Christine at Alpine cleaners did such an amazing job on altering my dresses for my bridal shower and bachelorette party. She also altered my sister-in-laws bridesmaid dress for her to be more comfortable in a tight dress while pregnant, and you could not even tell the dress was modified; it was true artwork by Christine. Alpine also steamed my vail for my wedding and made it flow like it was brand new, even though it was my mother's from the 80's. Thank you for all of your hard work and amazing skills! I will be coming back to clean my wedding dress here for sure!

okay, before I get to the negative part of this review, let me start off by saying that the lady who works here does wonderful work and I am very appreciative for her altering my dress. However, this is the first and LAST time I will ever go here. So I bought my prom dress for $60 at JCPenny, and it needed ONE INCH taken off the bottom so it wouldn't drag on the floor too much. One inch. She charged me $60 for ONE INCH. We didn't even ask to get it pressed or anything. Imagine if I needed any other alterations? Mind you, my dress isn't tulle, nor does it have multiple layers to be hemmed. It was a simple alteration. I asked my friends who also got alterations done how much it cost for them where they went and they all said it cost them $15 - $20 for MULTIPLE INCHES taken off. I strongly recommend for anyone who want to know-never go here. It's a rip off.

Penny Kairis I am 75 yrs. old. Bought a dress on sale for $22.00. from EVINE home shopping. No frills, just a straight narrow dress. I had a hard time understanding the lovely Asian women, but needed the dress hemmed as I am short. I have not bought a new dress in a very long time. Took a week for it to be done. That was alright, but the charge of $28.00, more than I paid for the dress shocked me. Needless to say I will look around for another tailor if I ever need something hemmed. Much too much money for a simple dress in my opinion.

If you want great service, timely delivery, and you have standards of quality work, Christine does not let you down. I have been using Alpine's cleaning and tailoring service for at least 10 years. Now, since I've gotten into fashion, Christine has become an invaluable partner to my nascent company. I also see the military men from around the corner to get their colors pressed, because they want the best cleaning for their uniforms. I'll continue to bring my drycleaning and tailoring needs to Alpine.

This place is WAY over priced- I went in to get an estimate on a 1 piece large shirt/dress that was 1 layer plain no decorations..just 1 color- and the lady said 10.75. What?!?!? $10.75 for a simple 1 piece plain dress/over sized shirt? No thanks. These people wont be getting my business any time soon. I went down the street to another cleaners and they told me it would cost $2.99. I think the lady was trying to take advantage of me for not knowing and asking.
