They were more concerned with bringing more customers in than attending to the customers they already had by chasing down customers in the parking lot.
As far as the manicure I received (if you can call it that), it was the worst one I have ever had. Zero focus on my cuticles. The hand massage portion was a whopping 12 seconds and I was actually grateful that it was so short because it meant I could leave that much sooner. When I went to pay I expected to be charged the listed $22, but it was actually $25. I would give a negative star if I could.

Got 40 minutes appointment drove 30 minutes and we're refuse service to busy. 3 of use very unhappy. Never again. Beware

I had a great experience today when I stopped in for a classic manicure. It was my first time here and I got in quickly and the two women working were lovely. This is one of the cleanest nail salons I have been to, and that is very important to me. And the price was very reasonable. Thank you for the great service and I will be back!

If I could give them less than a one I would. Would not honor their gift certificate. Not one customer in the store lady was rude. I asked to see nail color samples she said you going to get nails done if yes I'll show you if not no. Needless to say they will not get my business and doing this review to save others grief.

12/15 I had an appointment at my normal salon but they contacted me while I was in-route to tell me it would be another 1.5 hours to get me in. The time didn't work for me so I decided to give this place a try. I got in quickly which should have been the red flag there because there were no customers on a Friday around the noon hour but I had my nails on for 3 weeks and I needed a fill, cut down and 1 nail repaired. Instead of replacing the broken nail, the tech cut all of my nails down to the length of the broken one. The tech then explained that my nails needed to be cut down so short because they were all lifting. (They weren't, but I'm trusting the expert.) The E-file was on way to high. The tech cut my fingers several times while shaping my nails. Placed my hands in the UV multiple times. A week in and almost all of my nails are lifting and the polish is chipping. Honestly they didn't deserve the $10 tip. However, it's the holiday season and I appreciate the effort of getting me in without hesitation, but I will never go here again and no one should.

My daughter and I are here in Illinois visiting and decided to go get our feet done. I went inside this place and the owner was very nasty and refused to give us service. She had many excuses as to why she couldn't accommodate us. I asked to make an appointment she said, no. I asked to come back early the next day she said no. I pretty much know that she didn't want to serve us because of the color of our skin. She yelled and it took everything within me not to ..... lol

I got ripped off at this place she wanted a 70 dollar tip when my nails were only 50 my boyfriend was only going to leave 20 percent tip so don’t go here it’s horrible they were so rude to me and my boyfriend she told us to shut up because me and my boyfriend keeped talking while getting mg nails done

I have never been here before due to the fact I don't get my feet on a pedicure but I am glad I did. I can't think of the lady who took care of me on my visit on a Sunday but she was awesome. I am definitely coming back soon to see her again..

I went in for French manicures with other person and I was unsatisfied with my nails - discussed with manager/owner woman to perhaps get a discount. The other persons nails looked great. She became irrationally angry at us, took pictures of us on her phone, wouldn’t allow us to pay at all, and even took our money and shoved back into our purse. We were very sorry and offered to still pay multiple times. I really wasn’t angry or approaching her unkindly.. and we felt terrible because her reaction was soo mean. She did offer to redo my nails (meanly) but I was not able to with time constraints (or felt comfortable to stay after the way she was behaving..) She was very heated and confrontational for no reason.Please avoid this place, crazy that she took pictures of us and made us feel so uncomfortable.. After we left, she also called us, asked me if I was happy, told me she wasn’t happy, and claimed to close store down for the day because she wasn’t happy? I was speechless and was honestly a crazy experience. We blocked her number. That lady was really irrational and unprofessional and just blew it way out of proportion. There are a lot of reviews about her behavior and plenty of other great businesses in the area that are much more professional and kind. Stay safe out there, and definitely don’t write your phone number down if you do decide to go here.Service: Manicure

Owner is BEYOND rude, hate how they do a mani and pedi at the same time (it’s hard to fully relax doing both at the same time and an awkward manicure positing doing it across your body), and I have reason to believe the staff isn’t licensed. Wish there was more room to describe all the things they did that were beyond rude! Go somewhere else

I don’t normally leave reviews however feel very inclined to. Myself and 2 others went into Star for different services. 1 no chip mani, 1 pedi/mani and 1 full set. We were the only 3 in there and we all tried to be patient knowing it was the Chinese New Year. They rang us up and did the math 2x. I paid and tipped 20% for the 3 services. They then called us to say they charged us wrong and we needed to come back in and pay more, which I was willing to do until they hounded me about it. They called at 4pm asking us to come in to pay more. Yet when I made the appointments they said they were closing at 2pm for the new year. I said I would come in during the week to pay the difference. But after more than 1 phone call about it- I will not be paying for their mistake! Also of the 3 services- NONE of them lasted more than 3 days. 4 fingers of my no chip is off. The full set did not last 2.5 days and the regular manicure was ruined by the time we got home. I was willing to let all this go until they had the audacity to call and ask for more $ - which I was going to come back and give but they didn’t even allow me time to do so! With that said- I will not be back or suggest others to go.Services: Pedicure

My girlfriend stopped in here to get nails done. She was treated like a complete inconvenience and the lady argued with her and berated her because the color my girlfriend chose was not the color they used. They were taking walk- ins and my girlfriend was fully expecting a little wait time. The lady kept berating her saying these people had appointments and then she was told to leave.
