Seems like everyone was in a bad mood today. Also don’t donate if you have roaches… I only found one thing. A clipboard and it didn’t have a price. I asked a worker if they’d help me at checkout since it didn’t have a price. With an attitude he said “yeah”. So I waited about 10 minutes in line just to have the lady tell me “someone took the tag off to get it cheaper, it’s going to have to go back into processing and will be available in about 2 days”. Awesome! Most customers were already being rude to her while checking out so I didn’t partake. Super annoying nonetheless, and it’s probably safer not to shop here anyways considering the cockroach.

One of the nicest Goodwill locations I've ever been to. Still has some issues with lack of organization when it comes to infant clothes. All kinds of stuff is mixed in like women clothes. Def still needs some work. Their prices are ridiculous same as every other Goodwill

I loved the layout of this Goodwill! It was so cute. We had to wait a really long time to be checked out though, we were in line for 10-15 mins and there was only one person in front of us. They were managing some complicated return but there were other people working and surely one of them could've stepped in to check us out. ?♀️ Also resellers are definitely driving up the prices. Decent selection though! Also the cashier was very knowledgeable ?

Bought a cute lamp from the store. Tested it out at the store and it seems to be not working. But still wanted to give it a try with a different bulb. Took it to the counter and checked it out— out of my expectations, the cashier changed the price tag at the time of checking out. She said the price was too cheap, and they “want to make sure to get enough money from it.” When she checked in with the manager in the back, she also said that “someone might have changed the price tag.” Feeling offended when I heard this, after paying, I explained to the cashier that, “just to clarify, I didn’t change the price tag. I thought it’s cheap maybe because it didn’t work?” The cashier then…. Took the price tag off and wrote “no tag” instead on the receipt. She asked me, “how about this? I wrote a ‘no tag’ on your receipt.” I honestly don’t know what it means to make a “no tag” mark do in this case, I just think that she should not change the price label labeled by themselves, assumed that customers changed the tag without evidence, and make irrelevant and untruthful changes to the receipt. In 2024, Champaign Goodwill turned into a store of bad judgment.

Dirty. The furniture is stuff you'd find in a dumpster. Prices on dumpster furniture way too high.

Manager went out of her way to make sure I had a dress for Halloween. Don’t like Goodwill much as a company because of certain business practices but the employees here did something really nice for me, when they didn’t have to. ?

Not impressed for "men's" clothes. Very small selection and prices are higher than other thrift stores.Little organization and mixing of sizes in the racks and mixing of children's clothes with adult clothes means that you need to look all over the store and through every rack to find anything that you might want, like a finding a needle in a field of haystacks.

Lots of overpriced junk. Someone who said her name was Tonie England was extremely rude and aggressive. They don't offer returns, but under Illinois Deceptive practices they are often misrepresenting the condition of items and are liable. They obviously aren't checking anything before slapping a price sticker on it and putting it out.
