“We have rented many times from the Alamo using the Willard Airport location over the past 7 years living in Champaign. We have always have stellar care and service. Cars on time when we pick up, an upgrade if a reserved car size was not available ( we are a large university community with lots of last minute rentals.) However, we did experience a problem with Alamo corporate as we needed to extend our rental two more days than planned. Unable to do on line, I had to call the toll free number. After waiting on hold for 55 minutes, hanging up, retailing as if I were renting a new rental only to be switched again on hold for 45 minutes, I gave up. I then called the Willard Airport, used their automated system, got rental car option and went thru several prompts.....I finally got the person at the Alamo desk at our airport. It was the same person who graciously handled our initial pickup. He quickly extended our reservation, repeated confirmation of dates, rate change and drop off time. I have not enough words to thank him. He apologized multiple times for the delay I experienced. That is my 5 rating, corporate phone service or not able to do online for extension a -5..”
