Rude and give drivers too much power. Lady at the counter looked on the verge of tears. I told her she was going to be ok and she said I’m putting in my two weeks. Just sad used to be a good company.

We got 1/2 a hog. The meat was cut & packaged well. I asked questions about the meat and they were very helpful. I just got done cooking a pound of bacon, and WOW...lean, perfectly seasoned, & meaty. Yes, that does depend somewhat on the actual pig, but Wennemans supplied it and their farmer did good. Had pork chops last night, again GREAT. Thank you to Wennemans and their staff.

I love this place I've been going scene I was a kid. The best meat in southern Illinois. You get you meat cut fresh in front of you the thickness or thinner you want. No meat you can't get. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Bought our Christmas rib roast (prime rib) here as well as several other items. You will not find a finer butcher shop. Great service/staff, outstanding selection, locally grown products, wonderful meat. I travel a long way just to shop here, it's a treat every time.
