These guys are my saviors. Driving home from work during rush hour traffic my cars engine gave out and I was stranded waiting for roadside assistance and wondering what to do. The owner of the shop was driving and saw me stranded on the side of the road and came out and helped me push my car to the side of the road to a more safer area. He then went to go get his trailer and towed my car to his shop. Very knowledgeable and helped install a engine in the car and it feels like brand new. Very great on the prices and very good work!

First and Foremost THANK YOU MIKE AND MATT for just being such Honest Mechanics!!! I’ve been to a lot of different auto shops In and Around Round Lake and they have been extremely disappointing as far as using old parts and claiming it’s new and never being straight forward. But I’m so happy I found Suarson AutoLab! They have been nothing but Honest mechanics and they Do HONEST work on vehicles. Mike is extremely knowledgeable and informative and will provide all details on your car and give his honest advice. Thank you suarson AutoLab for being the one shop that doesn’t take advantage of people especially in this market/economy! -Brandy

Mike did a wonderful job of communicating what needed to be fixed on my car. I needed multiple parts serviced on my car, and Mike was patient and dedicated to the job. He is very honest about how pricing works and is a very skilled/knowledgable mechanic. Would highly recommend!

Micheal, one of the owners, is just mean and unnecessarily aggressive. Goes on the defensive demeaning and blaming others when he is not happy with the results he is getting. At one point I had asked him why is he giving me so much attitude?, which he said and I quote “I have to be stern in this business” There is a difference between being stern and badgering, Micheal. His second favorite phrase is “Let me finish!” Even though he will interrupt you when he deems you incorrect and no longer wishes to listen to you. I have a feeling he just might treat all women whom challenge his authority this way because he seemed to be in competition with every personal thing I said. For example, I stated that I’m a barber and his response to this was “my mother was a hairstylist and serviced -blank famous person-” can’t remember whom exactly. It just makes for unpleasant interactions. He does drive a petite white 2-door convertible so that might say something about his outlook on life.
He has even walked out and left during a disagreement. After a few minutes I asked the Co-owner, Micheal’s best friend, where he had gone to and his BFF said he had to take a break, that Micheal was under a lot of stress and wasn’t having a good day. “He isn’t normally like this.” Yeah I bet he isn’t *rolls eyes* I’ve been dealing with his unprofessional nonsense for a week.
The Co-owner, his name escapes me, is very nice and professional but he doesn’t seem to deal directly with customers as often so, unfortunately, I will be avoiding this shop like the plague and I recommend you do the same!

I've been taking my car to this Auto shop for years. They are reasonable, knowledgeable, and willing to go out of their way to explain everything you need to know about your vehicle.. If you have any problems and don't wanna get taken advantage of... Choose this shop!

I was looking for a shop to install new brake pads and rotors for a reasonable price. Having dealt with a lot of unprofessional mechanics in the past, I took my time in finding a shop to handle my cars needs. I'm happy I found Suarson. Mike is knowledgeable, professional and up front. His prices are better than most shops in the area. I will absolutely be back in the future.

I had an excessive amount of unfortunate events renting a truck from Florida to drive here to Illinois.When I called this location I spoke with Mike. He was very professional, knowledgeable and understanding of my situation. Mike took the time to explain several things about my situation. I truly appreciate that Mike took the time to actually speak to me and not brush me off nor rush me to get off his phone line. With Mike's help I was able to get everything done in a correct manner. If I ever need any future vehicles repaired I would trust this place.

Mike and his team are wonderful. I have been going to Mike for years now. He and his team have worked on all my cars. They do great work and have fair pricing. I would recommend anyone to go here if you have issues with your vehicles. Great service!

I cannot say enough good things about this business. Mike is absolutely wonderful. He’s honest, up front and takes time to explains issues with your vehicle. Matt is fantastic as well and a very approachable mechanic. My husband and I have taken our cars here for a while and whether it’s a simple oil change or a check engine light issue it’s taken care of. Fair pricing and honest working mechanics.
