Checked in on line. Wait was 28 minutes. Left and takes 14 minutes to get there. When I get to store, wait changed to 38 minutes. Last visit to this one.

Went there and there was the older guy cutting hair. Takes too long for a simple haircut. The other girl already had 3 done and ge did one. The quality of his work is not good. Made him fix the my son’s haircut because we are not satisfied. Crooked lines, missing to cut excess hair. All in all was a nightmare especially when my son got hurt. He nicked my son’s ear. And when I asked for receipt he said “this is my receipt”. Great clips should do a better job screening your employee. For what I saw, he has very little knowledge on what he’s doing and needed more training.

I’ve actually gone here a few times, and had a different stylist every time, and I’ve been happy with every haircut! Today, I went in for a choppy bob (almost 3 inches off), and I am obsessed with this cut! I forgot my stylist’s name, but she went above and beyond! She took her time with consultation, took the time to listen (and see) what I wanted. Even after telling her the main thing that I wanted done, I ultimately told her I’m fine with whatever she thinks would look good with my face shape and that’s trendy. She took her time, and continued to consult with me as she went along. Additionally, she even taught me a few styling tips as well! I am beyond appreciative for her talent and professionalism.

There was an older gentleman that cut my hair. I asked for a bang trim and gentle framing. He cut off half my hair to the point he cut even my under hair. This haircut was for a new job and I've been crying for days. This man gave me a mullet. He also combed out one of my gages and made a joke about forgetting to give me back my purse. He destroyed my hair and while doing so also lost one of my most expensive gages. I'm beyond upset and I wish he just asked me questions or told me he isn't comfortable doing what I asked.

Just got my hair cut by a guy at this store. I thought a 3 toed Sloth was cutting my hair! He moved so slow there surely had to be something recreational used at lunch! It took 45 minutes and my hair is uncut in several places! 1.5 inch hair pieces over my ears. How can he not see that he missed hair everywhere? Forget the back..... hair is 1/2" longer on my left side. He never set down his comb and used it constantly as a measuring tool! After the first minute of cutting I wanted to just leave... I should have! I will never go back to Great Clips again!

I usually go to the Round Lake Beach Great Clips but haven't really liked the cut although I have told them how I like it and show them a picture. I don't expect exactly like the photo but close would be nice. I went to the Round Lake Great clips yesterday, December 8,2023 and I am so happy I did!!! Jessica was my cutter and she did exactly what I wanted and almost perfect to the photo I showed her! She is a wonderful hair dresser and awesome conversationalist!!! I hope she doesn't go anywhere, she is my fav!! Thank you, Jessica!!!
