They have a sign in the bathroom, that they are the cleanest bathrooms or call. They are the dirtiest bathroom in Round lake. The women in the morning are always laughing at something. But the bathroom smells and looks horrible at any time. Terrible.

Card got skimmed here. Never going here for gas again. 2024 and the pumps are still using the insecure mag stripe on cards instead of secure tap and pay.

I love this Thornton's. Everyone that works here is always super nice. I don't know everyone's names but Rebecca and Damien are two that come to mind. Always so nice and helpful. Use this location daily and won't go anywhere else unless I absolutely have to.

Worst gas station. Do not stop here. The gas pumps have never taken any credit card, ever. I got gas here for years, and they would just turn the pump on, and I would go in and pay after. Now they are prepay only. I don't go anymore because i dont have time to go in first, fill up, then go back in to get my card. I just went with a friend, same problem with his card. Inside, they told him prepay only. He gave them the card to turn on the pump. The said how much. Don't know, just turn it on. Need to prepay. Ok, I need 20 gallons. She said we change money, not gallons. Ok, how much per gallon. "Four somthing".Getting gas elsewhere.

It was about 530pm and it was on 05-312023. First of all came to the cashier and she did not even say hi to me or anything. Also when I left she did not say nothing to me. The cashier was very impolite and very unprofessional and giving me a lot of attitude to me and she worked at the middle register. I guess this person does not know how to interact with customers. I am here many times. Regardless if it's my fault or not you do not lash out at a customer you help the customer out. She had very little respect for me I don't know about her attitude was all about. I was trying to be kind with her through all this but she kept getting me more and more upset. She gave me the worst attitude and I did nothing wrong to her I always come to this location and always get great customer service. You should always great to customer and number two you should be professional It is the basics for good customer service and end with some kind of ending for the customer. At this location they have very good management and staff that go above and beyond. We need to be strong and customer service through hard times we are going through right now more than ever. We need to be more compassionate to each other as human beings. This will bring back humanity. Never stop caring for another person.

Their air compressor flattened my tire entirely. It was buzzing but the only hissing there was came from my tire. I let the cashier know that the compressor was defective. She said she knew because other customers were complaining too. I asked her why not to warn customers to save them money and lot of trouble of having a flat tire? She said there was a sign but a customer took it. Sure, I believe that. Take responsibility for nothing and always blame customers. It’s not their concern as long as they are keep making money. She wanted me to call this compressor company to report a broken compressor. It’s not a customer’s job to do it!!!

worst experience at a Thornton's ever! I wouldn't spend 1 dollar at that store if my life depended on it. I don't know if it was the owner or manager but the bottom line he/him didn't value a paying customer. 1st rule of business.

Poor customer service skills fromthe cashiers. Not very welcoming to those that don't look like them. I've witness on multiple trips to this location they're friendly and all smiles to NON P.O.C. And the moment I step to the register they wipe those smiles off of their face. Despite how polite I am. Couldn't even place the money in my hand they sat It on the counter. I won't be back I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Great place to come and get gas, grab a fountain drink or snacks, adult beverages as well.Place is very clean and workers are very kind and friendly

This Thorntons is fairly nice. The location is easy get in and out of and there are a good amount of pumps so there isn't usually a wait. The gas price tends to be one of the lowest in town.The shop is mostly clean, they keep a decent selection of products and the staff is usually friendly.Be careful of the speed trap that is frequently just down the street.

My dad went to this location today Sunday 9/25/21. He had prepaid for gas inside the location and the employee selected the wrong pump (e.g. 13 vs 14) so when he went inside to get back the remaining money that was not pumped he was told he didn't pay at all. Not only was he told he didn't pay for it, but one of the employees (possibly a manager) got very nasty with him and started being very disrespectful. He was not disrespectful in any way and was very calm through the whole ordeal while she was just plain rude. All the while the other employees simply looked on.This treatment is incredibly disappointing but fortunately my mother had the receipt in the car and was able to prove they had in fact paid. It is ridiculous that even after proof the employee kept being argumentative further escalating the situation rather than just letting it go and backing off seeing as it had been a mistake. Absolutely horrifying customer service. Please use this as an opportunity for better customer service training for the employees and management of this location.

Be aware that you can't purchase alcohol after 2:00 AM. It sure would have been nice to know that before hauling my selection to the front of the store and than having to carry it all back to place back in the fridge. Why not have a sign on the door indicating, "Purchase of Alcohol Prohibited After 2:00 AM."?!
