This place is bad experience. I developed a covid . My doctor prescribed some medication for me. Was 10 pm and they can’t verify my insurance which is 100 procent legal. So I did not revived anything from stuff. Basically my fever was 101.7 . If something happens to me, my family will sue them all. Good lawyer will milk them like a cow. Don’t go there . Let’s them suffer. Maybe they will learn something. Andrew N.

Was advised 20-25 minutes for pickup on prescription. When I arrived was then told over an hour. No one talks to each other and this Walgreens is extremely slow. Workers just don’t care from what it seems.

I am only reviewing the pharmacy part of the store, terrible service, clearly the guy working behind the counter shouldn’t be in a job where he interfaces with customers. My mission was simple, pick up a prescription that I had received a text was ready, I have autopay, doesn’t get much easier than that, it was a huge burden on the guy to walk to the bin, pull the order out, confirm the name and give it to me, I was the only customer and it took over 10 minutes to do this. Such terrible customer service.

I have lived in round lake for about 10 years and always loved my next door pharmacy! Love the staff there but I ended up having a terrible experience that still has me shook. I went to the pharmacy to pick up my mothers prescription for her pain after her spine surgery which we have the doctor visit her every morning to check on her pain tolerance, which the doctor said her pills should be ready tonight. Since my mom can’t move around a lot or be in a car at all, I told her I would go because usually it’s my father that goes for her. There was a long line so I wasn’t helped until 30 min later so once I was next I spoke to a front desk person and he said the pharmacist will refill your prescription and I said ok sounds good. Once Mr. Mudassar came he asked for the birthdate, house address and the name, he decided to follow through with questions that I felt and definitely confident it was discrimination because he looked at me and kept asking me personal question like; and I quote “why do you have three different doctors from completely different locations?”,
“Also why are they so far apart from each other?” End quote. So I began to explain to him but realized I’m sure this isn’t regular protocol especially when the delivery of these questions felt like he was being racist! My mother and I were speaking Spanish bc I had to explain to her what he was saying to me and when I told him i wasn’t sure about that due to only knowing that my mom had to get a knee surgery and than a spine surgery and now IV injections due to the high infection she has. So I followed with him saying that’s fine sir I’ll speak to her doctor and see where the discrepancy is. And when I said that he decided to tell me and I quote “you know what I’m actually not going to give you these pills anymore” end quote and he crumbled up the bag and threw it on the counter beside him! And I just said in shock I’m sorry what? Because it was just out of the blue because I was confused of the actions of Mr. Mudassar did, I felt like he discriminated me and was racist bc once we finished talking in Spanish that’s when he decided not to give it to us! I spoke to the manager and she tried to have a private conversation with him and I overheard him lying saying bc there was an “error” on the account is what he was saying to the assistant manager knowing he didn’t say that to me, thats the reason he said no which I yelled at him saying he didn’t tell me that and said stop lying bc the way he asked me the questions it seemed like he was making it seem like I was abusing these pills him not knowing I am not my mother I was picking it up for her and that’s when he said and I quote “I am rejecting any other prescription sent to this pharmacy from now on for her” end quote. Mr. Mudassar already had it out and ready to ring it up he just DECIDED to not give to me! So my mother went herself with my father to see maybe bc I look young I don’t know I felt like he depicted my mother and me like abusers and it felt completely wrong, I felt embarrassed and looked like abusers! I am never going back to that pharmacy I have never in my 10 years going to that specific pharmacy I am so disappointed in this store bc even the manager there she didn’t want to give me her name. She only gave me the number to Steve but not hers so I’m super disappointed in this store! I work full time and I don’t know most of my mothers information my father would answer those for her I’m just there to help her with her IV injections and do whatever other chores for her to help her recover fast but it’s been 5 days and this pharmacy held it that long as well while we were calling them to check bc our doctor said it should be there! I have never been looked at in such a way or in like a cop interrogated me for breaking the law. Customers were around and I felt so embarrassed and uncomfortable I never experienced this before EVER. I would suggest customers to not go to this pharmacy AT ALL or at least not to work with Mr. Mudassar because he will make you feel like your less than him!

Never had an issue with any Walgreens until I moved to roundlake . There’s one guy pharmacist that is always rude. I came through the drive thru and he literally act like I was wrong for being there. He threw my things into the bin and just walked away. WALGREENS NEEDS TO GIVE THIS MAN A VACATION OR FIRE HIM. I never seen someone hate their job so much. Just terrible.

The owner of this Walgreens in particular needs to fire the current pharmacy team & hire a new team. I've never seen anything like it. I never had a problem until these new hires started working there. TERRIBLE service. The white male working there looked like he HATES his life. Look em in the eyes, it's the window to the soul. I hope they get a new pharmacy team. The community REALLY needs it. People need their medication, I sure do.
Update: nobody is perfect, I forgive the pharmacy team for being 3 days late on my prescription. It's OK.

It is terribly unfortunate when a company as great as Walgreens once was as relegated customer service to, at best an afterthought. I have contacted multiple stores in the area and have received horrific treatment by those in a health service industry.
