Be aware!! I went there and asked for Dora, she was recommended to me. I asked her for a color and hair cut but specifically I asked her to cut right above my shoulders since my hair has a lot of volume and gets curly.
After she did my color, which took forever (in her favor, I was a walk in client) around 5 hours just for color. The salon closed for the day and she rushed to cut my hair. I can feel it she was rushing while cutting it and I reminded her I wanted my haircut above my shoulder and she replied saying “she got it “.
I am so frustrated because we spoke the same language and nobody can say it was a misunderstanding. My hair is so short that I can barely put it on tiny ponytail.
Of course she tried to make it look good when she was done but it wasn’t what I asked her to do.
I should’ve read the reviews before getting to this place. I don’t think $177 dollars was worth it at all.
A message to the owner/Manager, make sure they all have the training on how to cut hair for different types of hair.

I had long hair. I asked for 1 inch cut with layers. My hair is shoulder length now. SHE TOOK OFF at least 9 inches!. Not happy. Butchered my hair. Never again! And she understood what I asked for!!! IT WAS NOT A MISUNDERSTANDING. I SPEAK SPANISH!

A few days ago I took my son to get a haircut here, but now I regret it. Since I asked that they only highlight his hair because it covered his eyes. He had beautiful hair, but now it seems like they cut it off. They left it too short on one side and too long on another. I never thought they would do this to him since I thought they were people with experience having worked there for many years. So think before you go here because I will not take my children here again.

Dora is the best, I highly recommend you ask for her to do your hair, trust me. Idk about the other barbers. But Dora for sure will give the exact haircut you want. I know nothing about haircuts and styles. I just showed her a picture of how I want my hair. And she looked at it for two seconds, and knew what to do right away. She gave me the exact same haircut I wanted from the picture I showed to her.Finally I found somebody that I can always go to for my haircut and get it perfect10/10 Dora, thank you. I know the owner since I was a teenager and she had her salon next to a kindergartten or something like that? She used to cut my hair back thenAnd SHE IS THE ONLY PERSON that can make my hair grow fast!! She has magic hands!But I still go to her salon although I might not get her to cut my hair I always receive good service and I trust her workers because she picked them for a good reason?

I have waist length hair and asked for long layers. The stylist completely hacked my hair. Ended up with short layers that were unblended and looked like steps. Looks like a 4 year old cut their own hair. When I was unhappy another stylist came over and said it looked fine with a straight face. I paid and left. Never again. I went in the middle of the day after making an appointment earlier that morning. It's small, but very inviting. The music is good and the stylists are really nice. Very quick and accurate to what I wanted done.

just recently dyed my hair here and asked for a dark color (i said it more than once that i wanted it dark) but instead got a very bright and almost neon color which was so disappointing considering how much i paid for it and the fact that i was there for about 6 hours. it was also bleached uneven and now i have like 5 shades of purple in my hair and damaged hair. i didn't complain but i probably should've. my mom and sister have been here before more than once and never have had a problem but i'm not sure if i can return after this.
