Only bike shop in area that was able to help me, bought 3 piece crankset and they put on for 20 bucks GREAT DEAL. Also I had got pedals and grips that were put on aswell. I’m super satisfied and it only took two days. Will be continuing doing business there.

So this was my first time going there and overall it was a bad expirience. The old man thats in there is just plain rude. I walked in straight to the younger girl that was there at the cash register patiently waiting for her to finish with the client that was already there. Mr old guy then walks up looking at me from head to toe and aksed if i needed help. I showed him the piece i needed and right away he said NO WE DONT HAVE THAT HERE. So i pointed and asked. What about that part thats right there. Thats exaclty what i need. Then he said, WELL THEN ASK HER! as if i wasnt already in line waiting to talk to her. Idk what his deal is or if hes just racist against mexicans.

I highly recommend this place lots of great bikes,to choose from they got everything and anything you need.and the people there are very nice…i bought my sons bike there. Im looking to buy my twins their next bike there to. They also work with people who have disabilities. I wish i would of came sooner.

a year ago we bought a bike for our son for $459 (with tax was almost $500)! It was a big expense for us, but the lady said that if we buy from them, we can trade in and when we come back next year, the bike will be worth $300, so we agreed. We took a smaller size so that my son felt better and exercised more. We said we would come back next year and we did so to change our son's size to a larger size! Today we returned to the store, my son chose a bike worth $500, we thought we would return the other one and get a bigger one, paying an additional $200, and the lady at the checkout calculated that she could now give $150 for this bike!!!!!!!! usually a scam and tricks people into buying a bike and then treats them like this! now we were going to buy two bikes there and a bike rack for the car, but we will never go back there again, and of course we didn't give the bike back for $150!!!! don't be fooled by any trade in!!!!!!!!!!

Cindy was SO helpful! She listened to what we wanted a bike to do and guided us to what would work for us. AND! Let us try each one of them. We were able to narrow our search and really see what we would change or add or take away from each bike. What awesome customer service!! She was transparent in her answers and didn't try to sell a bike. She educated us on the brands and models and features. Thank you!!!! I wish we were further into our shopping research to buy today!

Purchased a bike today and Cindy was incredibly helpful and patient with me. She allowed me to try out a few bikes and offered to customize tires to my liking. Absolutely great customer service and very happy with my purchase. Will come back without hesitation for future bikes or upgrades. Thank you again

We love to come in and poke around whenever we’re in town visiting family! This is a nice shop, always well stocked with bikes, parts, and accessories. Cindy is always super friendly and helpful. Sometimes we want to pick something up for a project or a last minute idea and don’t have time to place an order & wait for parts to ship, and B & G has a selection of parts that is hard to beat! As a bike mechanic and bike shop owners ourselves, we know a good bike shop when we see one. It’s also a welcoming environment for customers who may not know as much about bikes. Overall, we’re really glad this shop is a part of the community.

Excellent personalized service and very knowledgeable staff! Cindy was awesome, got me exactly what I needed for my electric bike, and had me out the door. Please support this great, local bike shop! Resist the temptation to purchase from Amazon or another big box store. Shop local!

Only place in Lake county Probably that I've found that actually have BMX parts and some complete bikes. I've been to 12 bike shops in lake county and over the border in Wisconsin 12 total and only 1 had any BMX parts or bikes and that's B&G Cyclery.Please keep selling BMX in your stores. Because of places like Dan's comp, etc have made it hard to comete with online retailers but I'm willing to pat a bit more if it helps save local Bike shops from loosing BMX.I literally have to drive an hour and 20 mind to Chicago to get any NMX parts I need that I can't wait a week for Shipping or want to check out a frame, etc in person.Thanks for still serving BMX riders and not just chasing what other shops are doing.
