I checked out the car in person and not only did he explain everything about it to me BUT he even let me take it off his lot to my own personally mechanic to get checked out! Didn’t need a down payment or anything. When I returned with the car he offered to repair what needed to be fixed (as long as it wasn’t crazy expensive like a brand new engine, which is completely fair) and take the cost of maintenance away from the cost of the car.
