Like so many reviews, showed up to get my daughter her birthday bear during listed open hours but no one was at the kiosk. An hour later we got our bear, but the worker charged us for items we did not receive (just right there in front of us) and it was a WHOLE ORDEAL to correct his error. Just avoid this trash kiosk and find an actual store where they try even just a little. It’s not worth a pain and the disappointment in your little one.

This was my first time visiting Build-a-Bear at Fashion Outlets of Chicago, and it was a great experience! The employee that helped me build my bear was super friendly and so very kind. This location surprisingly had a decent selection of bears to choose from as well as clothes, accessories, and scents. They even had quite a few of the Sanrio characters too, which was nice to see. I actually prefer this location over the Woodfield one despite being smaller. My overall experience was just better and they actually had the items I came for, unlike the one at Woodfield, which never has any of the items they claim to have in stock on their website for some reason.

Was passing by today and I noticed there was a new frog in stock! There were only 3 “skins” left. There was nobody manning the kiosk at the time, so my friend and I came back after lunch. Got my new Zomb Frog and I couldn’t be happier! Lulu I believe her name was, was quick and efficient.

Poor customer service, rude employees just standing around talking and on their phones. Spoke to the manager she was at least somewhat friendlier. Maybe because it’s in an outlet mall. Go elsewhere.

Literally came 3 days in a row to get a bear for my little one after work around 6pm each time. Y'all were closed or closing down at that time. Please correct your hours of operation for this location if it's not correct

Brought our daughter here on her first birthday, and called that same morning so they knew to expect us. When we walked up to the kiosk, the two staff members seemed annoyed with our presence and were less than enthusiastic about the whole experience. They never acknowledged our daughter and we were never given the option to make a name or certificate for her new bear. So disappointing.Also, this location is a kiosk. Do yourself a favor and make the trip to Woodfield Mall for the full experience, with staff members who actually care.

Abdullah was great. He was very patient, sincere and kind. I'm not sure when he works, but I was there on a Thursday as soon as they opened. Good to know there's still caring people out there. I have my grandma's voice forever. Thanks Abdullah!

Was there twice in the same day. Both times I found an empty booth with a sign that read "back in 15 minutes". Came back hours later and the sign was still there.
