Really enjoyable place! I have not really come here all that much since before the pandemic began! However, I really did enjoy coming here every week to donate my time and create cards, draw on boxes, and create care packages for the cancer patients! Definitely would like to come back though for whenever walk-ins are available again! Definitely a very worthy cause!

Loving girt for cancer patients. I was warmed and delighted when opening box and then received a card a few weeks later. The card truly brightened my day. The fact that children are involved make it even better. Thank you for this program.

Phil's Friends Hope Center may be currently closed in April, due to COVID-19, but did you know you can still help? I love that this is a non-profit organization I can still volunteer for, even while social distancing. Visit philsfriends.org for print at home card templates, and a card making guide, or use your own blank card to write messages of hope from home. I also found no sew fleece blankets on Amazon and made some to send them. Especially when hospitals are limiting visitors, these messages of hope are needed even more, to get to someone who is both facing cancer and isolated. If you have kids at home, it's a fun way to keep them busy in between school work or on a rainy day. Phil's Friends sends their care packages anywhere in the country and you can order a package on their site for anyone going through cancer. Cancer is strong. But HOPE is stronger.
