I had an oil change done on August 1st 2024 at Master Lube in Roselle, IL.
When I got home I checked the level and saw that it was far from full. I went back and was told "You don't know what you're looking at". He said ANYWHERE within the XXXXX area was good enough and he didn't want to "Overfill it". I asked how it would be overfilling it if anywhere within that area was good and there was plenty of area left. He dismissed me like I was an idiot.
There is a tag from the manufacturer stating this vehicle requires 8.4 quarts.
He said that wasn't what his chart says.
This idiot should not be in the automotive field. Nor should he be allowed to deal with customers!
I have a good rapport with one of the mechanics next door, but I will never allow this jerk to touch any one of my vehicles again!

There’s almost nothing I appreciate more than an honest mechanic. At Master tech they focus on your vehicle concerns and don’t waste time being salespeople. They are super accommodating, reasonably priced, very friendly, helpful and fast! Basic oil changes can be done within 20 mins! Yesterday I had my AC charged and the awesome young women working in the shop was so polite and willing to educate me and explain what I need to watch for.. my experience at master tech doesn’t compare to other shops. They aren’t condescending like most places and they really do treat everyone like family. My car does unfortunately need a little more work but I’m excited and looking forward to bringing it back to Master tech! Thank you to everyone for being so darn great!! You rock! :)

Heard a noise on the highway, and we pulled over. We got off at Roselle and stopped in for a quick repair - they were able to get it fixed within 5 minutes. Thank you guys!!

The lube service is reasonably priced and speedy. They check the air in your tires and all fluids, topping them off, if necessary. It is quality service, using quality products. They also have batteries, bulbs, belts, recharce air conditioning, etc. The washroom is clean. There is a comfortable place to sit with TV and magazines and a filtered drinking fountain. All in all, an excellent place to take your car for lube service.
