Awful zero stars. I placed a refill via the app. Never informed me the status of it. Tried calling the store and literally have been on hold for 15 minutes and 3 callers ahead of me and just went down to two. It's 6:04 pm and I sure hope my call gets picked up before the meal break. Ridiculous. No way that employees are that busy to take a call with questions. Terrible customer service and this place needs to close.

Manager Stephen tells me "what the hell do you expect me to do" and when i tell him i have had nothing but problems with this pharmacy for past couple years since they changed staff and mangement and he tells me "then why are you still coming here" I think that there is different treatment based on the type of insurance you have if you catch my drift. If you need to be on state aid versus a BCBS plan you will be treated different. I have experienced this. Im coming for your job dude, so you better get an indeed account. You will not talk to me like this. You would think that someone needing diabetic medicine would cause some sort of rush to help. He also says well you can just come up here and pay 1100 cash for it. Yes like people have rent money to pay for medication. I really wish that the world would hire more empathetic people that understand why someone would be upset and attempt to make them feel at ease. I will never come to this place again. I am so upset and beside myself right now, but you have not heard the last of me. I promise.

This is the most amazing representative of Walgreens that there is!! I have had so many troubles finding the right place to take my prescriptions and understand that I need to compare my GoodRx and my prescription company insurance coverage. She takes the the time to review both options and makes sure that I am taken care of. She is an asset to Walgreens and I'm glad that she takes the time to help me. Thank you Kelsie.

Pharmacy is always so busy and yet always takes the time to help me with a smile! Even when the store is short staffed I never have problems.

UPDATE: exactly one year after the original review this worm has slithered her way up to Pharmacy Manager and that’s only because no one else wanted the job! Last night I had the misfortune of winding up with this tiny venomous human at the Walgreen’s on Hononegah AGAIN! It’s bad enough that this pharmacy has been a hot mess with getting people’s prescriptions correct (just read the reviews over the last 3 years) but if you catch this vile creature she will intentionally speak to you like you’re an imbecile and make ZERO effort to get things right. If there is a way to make a bad situation worse SHE WILL FIND IT. You can yell “Die Boomer Die” at me all day long but if I worked at a pharmacy at her age (any age for that matter) and talked to people the way this soulless harbinger of hate does I’d of gotten my teeth slapped out of my head and fired on the spot. And people wonder why there is a literal epidemic of people asking for help and getting turned away then going nuts and doing really stupid awful things in this area. This entitled child will push even the kindest of person to lose their mind because if she’s not being passive aggressive she’s being a bully. And now that she’s MANAGER she thinks she’s untouchable. She has the absolute worst communication skills and laughs in your face when she frustrates you. I have moved all my medications after decades with Walgreen’s because of this egomaniac. And it’s sad because most of the tech’s under her are so nice I want to go through the drive through just to tell them they were great and I’ll miss them. So don’t ever feel bad if this cow makes you want to scream and cuss until you’re way out of character for yourself because she’s a professional when it comes to provoking people. Just take your business elsewhere like I have, report to corporate like I have and my doctor has because the way she flexes her “authority” and truly HARMS people is NOT OK!

All the pharmacists and techs are rude, they lie and the store manager is no help at all. Even my doctor is so fed up with them that they are calling corporate and filing a lawsuit. If you want your medications on time with people being rude, lying to you and hanging up on you go somewhere else’s. These jerks don’t give one hot damn about your health. They have mismanaged my meds for months. It’s always a problem, no one there cares or will take responsibility. They do not deserve anyone’s business. ESPECIALLY when it comes to your healthcare! And this little nasty tech is especially dangerous because she will literally lie to your face and try to dismiss you from standing up for yourself.

Worst pharmacy drive through I’ve ever sat in. From the multiple comments about this place they obviously don't care. If you’re looking for a pharmacy stay away from this one.

Rude staff. Never have meds prescribed by doctors. Always blame insurance and doctors, take NO responsibility even when they are at fault. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Use call centers with people with no training to take overflow calls. This is people's health in their hands!!! It should be giving the respect by knowledgeable people that they would want for their loved ones. Instead, so many of us are treated like garbage they stepped in! Totally inexcusable!!!!

Waited in an HOUR AND A HALF long line to get my daughter a flu/covid shot. Got there on time for a 3:30 appt. for my daughter's vaccine, and she wasn't jabbed until 5:00. Awful! What the heck is going on there?? This store always has plenty of shoppers. There are lots of elderly people in Roscoe. They need to hire more people, especially at the pharmacy!
