I was on my way back home, I stopped and I asked for $20 on pump 10. Somehow the lady at the register put $120 on pump 10, I did debit. I thought with debit it’s the same as cash, well it’s been a day and I still haven’t received my money back on my card yet.
I have been calling and calling no reply.

Giving this review from a RVers perspective, who is not from Wisconsin. We had targeted the Love’s across the street, but Open Roads showed this Thornton’s with a better price. Our rig is diesel, so we always come to the truck lanes. To our surprise, there was two pumps with both diesel and gas with a water station next to the lanes for the big trucks. This is super convenient and makes for an easy stop for RVs and other trucks towing. We wish all fuel stations would follow this model all over the U.S.

I have used Thorntons for many years. Today a very rude employee of this company, a fat blonde, made me stop using the services of this company. This woman doesn't like Europeans, she was unprofessional. I'm not interested in her political views. If you are from Europe, avoid this gas station.

Cheapest gas at Exit-3
Across the street at Love's it's $3.49, at Speedway it's $3.39 and here it's $3.29,with my membership, I paid $3.24. Can't beat that!
Maybe the trash is neglected but it's not like this all the time. At least there's enough washer fluid.

Every time I stop in there, the staff is very friendly. The store is always really clean. The restrooms are super clean as well and stocked.

The showers were nasty. If water gets all over the floor by the sink area from the shower just put up a shower curtain to stop that. The cashier was rude as hell.

Bathroom is nasty. Came in at 2 am and it was trashed. Came in again at 5 am and trash is still all over. Nobody has bothered to check it or clean it. Same trash too.
