I should have adhered to the other reviews posted about the pharmacy at this Walgreens! I have had the very worst experiences with this pharmacy from incorrect prescriptions being filled to unbelievably rude pharmacy techs, one in particular by the name of Angela! These people are to provide a service to the public. More importantly the people they're providing a service to are experiencing some sort of health issue which should make them more compassionate and understanding but obviously not with this pharmacy staff member!

I normally come to this pharmacy but now considering changing. I called to get information on a medication that was prescribed for my daughter. I spoke to Lucy on the phone in pharmacy and she was extremely rude and impatient. The price of this script in the app stated that it was over $1,000 out of pocket, so naturally I had questions. She asked if I had insurance on file. I told her that I did. But if she is looking at my daughter’s chart, that Information should be on there for her to see. I asked her did they try to run it through the insurance and she said yes very quickly. Yet you didn’t know if I even had insurance on file just ONE second ago. She rushed me off by saying “is there anything else?!” Insurance companies already can be a pain to deal with. When you’re trying to get medication for your child and questions answered it’s even worse. How inconsiderate and disrespectful Lucy was to me! Very disappointing! I would recommend going somewhere that people actually have compassion for your prescriptions needs. It’s definitely NOT here.

Walgreens has been around a very long time. This location is easily accessible and has a well lit parking lot.The store is usually well stocked with adequate employees working. They do have quite a selection of batteries and electronics.Worth stopping at if you need something.

I came from an emergency procedure. it was in the evening so I selected a 24 hour pharmacy. When I arrived back at the pharmacy, there were three people in the department plus the pharmacist, but only one person was working the registers. After lengthy wait, I was next in line (with one person being served). At this point, in spite of joining and already formed line, the tech informed that the line was supposed to be on my left. She then said something I didn't understand. A minute later she demanded that I move. When it was finally my turn, I noted she did not have a name tag. I challenged her about having to move. And she started with "sir..." I interrupted her and said stop with the sir, you have been very disrespectful, don't use sir. I handed her this prescription and asked if they could fill it that night. She began a tour of the Pharmacy and had a short consultation with the pharmacist. Mind you the pharmacist has been pretty much disengaged this entire time throwing field prescriptions into a basket. The tech comes back, and announces that they can fill the prescription in 100 minutes. Mind you, no one else is standing waiting for prescriptions. So I have already spent 45 minutes waiting on the process, and now they want 100 minutes more, in spite of the fact that I am physically in the store waiting. I asked for the prescription back. The tech says, "GLADLY!!!" I decided to talk to the night manager about the way this tech is treating customers. she takes some information, apologizes, and promises. The store manager will call me the next morning. Needless to say, the store manager did not call. My experience at Walgreens has been declining overall. Customer service seems to be something that means nothing to them. Having said that, this store is the worst experience I have had at a Walgreens. And that is an all-time low. If you desperately need a prescription filled overnight, be prepared to wait two hours and have terrible customer service. I'm writing this review because Management seems to not care about their store. I wish there was a no star option available. So at the end, I did not have my prescription. I spent an hour in the store for no reason. Management doesn't care about their customers. And a single employee cost the store $100 retail price on my prescription. To be fair the pharmacist and the three other employees made the situation worse. I doubt the store management cares enough to read this review, but I'm hopeful this will save the reader some time and aggravation.

Miguel the pharmacy tech is a liar. You should check your receipts to make sure he ran your insurance . He will lie right to your face and charge you full price for something that should have been $0.I brought my prescription in at 4pm. Miguel took my insurance information and told me an hour and a half, but I would recieve a text. After 2 hours and 45 minutes I went to the drive thru. Miguel, now working the drive thru, says there was a problem with my insurance. He needed a number from the card, the same card I had already given him before. I gave him the number. He stared at the computer for 5 minutes. Then said he got the insurance to run, $30.I drive home only to find out he didn't run the insurance at all, just charged me full price. If under insurance it says "GoodRx". That means no insurance. Check your receipts, he will say it's run and then do the GoodRx garbage. Drive all the way back in and the pharmacist found the liar entered the number incorrectly twice. Miguel can't read numbers? Can't even copy numbers. But instead of just fixing the mistake, he charges me $30 and prays I don't find out. 0% CHANCE THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME. WAY TO CALM DURING THE WHOLE SITUATION.Turns out the $30 he charged me was supposed to be $0. The pharmacist had to go through a whole process of voiding the transaction. All because Miguel is unable to read numbers twice, and then is totally fine just lying to my face. Who hires this trash? He has zero fear of management. It's really kinda sad how terrible this store is now. I feel bad for the people who have work there. Everyone looks so depressed.

The store manager/assistant manager Angela - curly blonde haired and short middle-aged woman has the mouth of a tyrant. It was hard not to overhear her speaking harshly and loudly to an employee, reprimanding her for not doing something correctly. Shame on you, I hope you don’t speak to your family the way you speak to your staff.

Walgreens Pharamacy 347 Independence Blvd. Romeoville, IL. Pharmacy continues to be out of medications numerous times. Constant issues. Always excuses. No one is fixing issues. Can't get thru on the phone numerous times. Leave messages for Chris. He doesn't get them. No courtesy call backs. Professionalism out the door here. You were treated better and had fewer issues in 1973. Amy is great! Professional. Courteous. If you have a problem, she tries her hardest to fix it. Have great confidence in her. Wish Marion would come back. At least with him, he tried his hardest to fix any issues. They even acknowledged many times that they had and are having many issues. It's 2023 and you are getting worse not improving.

This is the worst Walgreens and I will not stop until everyone knows! Walgreens gave me the incorrect script today for a medication I take to live! When I called Pharmacist Monica to advise I was told I should’ve looked in the bag before I left and if I’m having Symptoms after not having my thyroid meds for a week because Walgreens dropped the ball, I should go to urgent care as if that’s free! She tried to convince me to take a med I’m allergic to (I’m allergic to the fillers in the generic med and due to thyroid cancer I can’t have generics) and when I advised I was coming to bring the medication back she called the police to the store, called me on the phone and said “the police want to speak with you”!!!! Yes, they called the police and I wasn’t even there! THEY CALLED THE POLICE AND I WAS NOT THERE!!!!!!!The police officer and their consumer relations department listened to my side of the story and both agreed I was doing the right thing by moving my families prescriptions filing a corporate complaint. He even offered to send me a ambulance! The consumer relations agent was in tears because she had never heard such a thing in her life! I have NEVER been treated this poorly by medical “professionals” . PLEASE don’t go to this location! I will not stop until Monica is fired!!!!!!

I went to the immediate care and needed to give a urine sample. The bathroom was the most disgusting thing I have seen. Walgreens is supposed to be all about health and wellness. I can't believe the management would allow this. I will never go to this walgreens or any other...
