I am writing to the management and staff of Penske, Romeoville. I can’t say enough about the staff who took care of me and one of our fleet trucks from Legacy Express. Holly and the staff at the customer service window were not only professional, but very friendly. Holly took the utmost care and made sure that my needs were taken care of right away, knowing I was on the clock. The technician working on my truck quickly diagnosed that I had a busted radiator and would require a new one. At that point Holly got me in contact with leasing and within 45 minutes I was on my way in a lease truck to my next destination. But wait that's not all. When I got home that evening after a full day, I found out that I was missing my pocket knife that my wife had bought me. The only time it could have fallen out of my pocket was when I was at the Penske restroom. My wife told me to call and just check. I said no way, no one's going to turn in that knife, because it's a Gerber quick assist knife. I called and Holly answered the phone and said yes we found it and it was turned in! To my surprise Holly gave me the information and the news that I was hoping for. This just goes to show you that professionalism and integrity is not dead. Penske of Romeoville went above and beyond what normal service departments usually do. To the person who turned my knife in, I say thank you. Thank you for your integrity and your ability to do the right thing. But this saga is not over yet because the very next day the vehicle that I got from Legacy had a huge gash on the sidewall or cap of the drive left tire. Just by chance I happen to be in Romeoville again. I called Holly and she said come right in we'll take care of it immediately and sure enough in 30 minutes the tire was fixed and I was on my way. That's when Holly gave me my knife and said that she was happy that someone found it and turned it in. I thanked her profusely because this was a gift for my wife. This kind of honesty and integrity is rare nowadays. This place constantly behind schedule. Come here regularly and they never diagnose/fix problems quickly or properly. Constantly delays all plans we make; go to any other Penske if can; try Ryder down the street.

I can only comment on the fuel island, but.... sat a full 30 min waiting on an attendant, after waiting 10 and calling inside. Meanwhile, 4 trucks pulled in behind me to fuel. DO NOT come to this location to fuel, go to a gas station!

Penske Romeoville, ILFirst of all I want to express my sincere apology to the lady that called me this morning 08/10, to informed me that they can't provide a truck for me, which i reserved for almost a month. I did curse, I should not say a bad words. I didn't curse on her just the situation, it's really not acceptable. I did a reservation for along time and every week I called to follow up on it and i went to the location 3 times to make sure that all is set and the 3rd time was yesterday 08/09 a day before the reservation date to confirmed. They told me yes you will have a truck... I even told them if there is no truck let me know right now so I can look somewhere else. but before i leave they guaranteed me that for sure I will have the truck... I did explain how important this project is. Again sorry for the harsh words. Please let her know!Thank you,Alvin

Used them several times , always great service. You can pretty much get what you need truckwise at almost anytime but best to reserve a few days out . This is my go to place .
