I’m in process to change my accountant, I heard a lot of not bad reviews about H&R Block. On February 24 I scheduled appointment for Saturday February 25 at 10:00am with Leticia. Person name Tony called to confirm my appt, they saw in the system that I have an appointment. I was at work that day and wasn’t able to answer on phone call. Later on that day they sent automated text to confirm appt. I confirmed my appointment. I woke up early that day to be on time for my appointment. Ms. Leticia showed up at 10:20, very slow like she is on navy pear walked into the building. After another 5 min she approached to me and said that she didn’t see in the system that I have an appointment. This is ridiculous. If you want to go to that place never schedule appointment with Leticia. If she is late on her appointment I can only imagine how she prepares taxes.

The language barrier gets ignored between CPAs & clients, causing massive screw ups and when these errors are called out, the one that prepped them is all of a sudden gone for a few months on vacation.

The tax preparation was filed wrong. The tax preparer said it was my fault when I went back because she did not know what a schedule k is. If I knew, I would have done my taxes myself. She has a horrible attitude and the manager scolded her. 15 months later, no refund yet.

Unchin Cho has been doing my taxes for a few years now, and I won’t get my taxes done with anyone else there, but her. She is wonderful and always so nice! She answers any questions or concerns I may have.

H & R Block is getting too expensive for simple tax return. I do get a tax fefund but I spend almost 1/2 of refund at H & R Block.
