Returned a modem to this store yesterday , they were busy and said I could leave it and that I would get a email when they log it in. 24 hours later and still no email and still showing the modem on my account.
And I swear xfinity's phone and chat systems are so horrible at getting to a real person, I bet they find some of the best tech people in the world to design their system just to avoid talking to people. Cowards.

I had the opportunity to be in this location several times in the same week. I saw reviews referring to negative experiences, I approached cautiously. I now beg to differ. They are indeed very busy, but did not fail to greet each person that entered within mere seconds. I saw them do everything humanly possible to keep things moving.
Bearing in mind that Comcast/Xfinity is a huge company, they need to follow the guidelines given to them. Agents/managers keeping themselves informed and going the extra mile to look for solutions for customers is what I saw.
I'm a careful observer. I saw/heard a team of agents who worked hard and also looked for solutions to customers requests. Folks may have many different opinions about their services, but IMHO the staff is worthy of gold stars!

MAKE THAT MAKE SENSE! can't even change my wifi username and password! This is highway robbery and abuse of the general public!

Hands-down the WORST company! You can ever get anyone on the phone. The 1-800 number is setup now so an automated system handles all calls. It's literally impossible to speak to a human being. You can't even call the Xfinity store to speak with anyone. You're basically screwed if you have Comcast. End this capitalist monopoly and allow other companies to provide actual internet!

OMG do they train these people... Comcast just moved into our area and being unhappy with the price and performance of my current ISP I started to look into Comcast... I had a few questions so I thought it would be best if I went to their storefront to get "Expert advice"... Man was that the wrong call... the young woman who I talked to didn't know anything... I am a IT professional so I know more then your average customer about networking so I'll give them that much that their short training courses (if they have one) won't equal my college degree and years of experience but I do expect them to know their products... the question I had was could I disable the Wi-Fi capability on their modem... see I have my own Wi-Fi router that is far superior to what they offer so I would prefer to use my equipment... the person at the store said she didn't know so she went to check. When she got back she said no you couldn't disable the Wi-Fi on Comcast modems... then suggest I buy my own modem... so I asked what one to buy to be compatible with their service... she said there was a list on the web site and I would want to pick one that did 1.2 GBps... I said but I want the top speed... she said that was their top speed... so I pulled out my phone and showed the Comcast website that shows they offer a 2 GBps option. Baffled she went on to say if I bought my own Modem I wouldn't get "unlimited Wi-Fi"... "um Wi-Fi is unlimited" is what I replied. She said "no it is limited to 1.2 TB"... at this point I walked out... let me give a little lesson to the cheap seats... Wi-Fi is a radio signal that you use to connect your device to an access point such as a home Wi-Fi router it is not metered by your ISP even if it is on their equipment... what she was talking about was data... yes just like your cellphone your home internet has a limit on the amount of stuff that can download to your system this includes all things you view as well as files you download to your device... granted it is a lot higher then you cell plan and most people never even come close to using it all but still it's there... I found out from the Comcast website that you can indeed turn off the Wi-Fi capability on their combo modems for just the use cast I was talking about... with the miss information and the snotty attitude of the rep at the store I will take a pass on Comcast...

Been having trouble with internet ever since it was installed and Comcast has canceled an appointment because they "couldn't see a problem with my internet" on their end. When I finally DID get a tech out, he was new and couldn't do anything other than run a speed test on a connection that was up and running for once.
