Had a horrible experience going to this location today with the cashier she was a grumpy older lady with glass she didn’t have a name tag and wouldn’t give me her name. Her and the manager guy who approved my transaction were extremely rude I tried to put $560 on my chime card and the lady refused to do a second transaction to up load the $60 to my account. Forcing me to have to go to another location just to upload $60. I go there all the time and never had this problem before doing 2 transactions. The manager guy was rude as well and got combative when I asked her if she could put the rest in my account. You should not be in customer service if you don’t like helping people. Especially when it’s your job to do so. They got combative with me just for asking to do a second transaction. Started yelling “sir no leave” out loud, as if I was being being demanding and rude in any way. while the other customers were behind me the whole situation was very embarrassing I didn’t let them trigger me into arguing with them so I just left. I called corporate and filed a complaint never in my 30 years of life have I ever had to call a company to file a complaint for horrible customer service. I will never come to this location again.

RE: ALL Walrgreens.... Don't be fooled by their claims of synchronizing your multiple Rx refills. This is a joke. They have two computer programs running the show, and they do not communicate with each other. The automatic Rx refill notification program fires first, and does communicate with the synchronization program EVER. They put me on these two programs against my explicate orders not to do so. I gave them well over a year, and they never got it right. I went to another pharmacy, and got "synched" In ONE visit. ONE VISIT.ONE VISIT. ONE VISIT. ONE VISIT. ONE VISIT. ONE VISIT. ONE VISIT.

Years ago the pharmacy was great here. Now they hire lazy and incompetent employees who don't even know how to count pills or get prescriptions ready by promised times. That second lane for pharmacy closed is sure helping everyone. The customers see how far downhill this pharmacy is now. I don't trust their service.

I gave this Walgreens on the corner of Alpine and Guilford 1 star because I had to, to make a review. Every time I come to this Walgreens it's a problem. If you call you're on hold for quite a bit of time and the store is not that busy. I went to pick up photos for someone else and the manager Alexis rang up the photos and my beverage. I told him the pictures weren't mine. Showed him the paid receipt. And he still made me pay for them. I went outside called the person and she said she paid. I went back in and he refunded the pictures. Then couldn't find the "card on file" off the receipt. I said "ok i can call her and give you the card over the phone to match the last 4 off the receipt". He said "No, it's against policy".. and made me pay for them again. He just saw it was on file and HE DELETED IT to put them on my card. I understand policy. I also understand customer service and Manger overrides. He didn't want to be wrong and hid behind "store policy" instead of helping a long time customer simply because he didn't know what to do. I'll go out of my way before I'll come back to this Walgreens, which is sad because it's so close. But I too, can prove a point.

The pharmacy has a staff problem. If I didn't live right near there umm like less than half mile there and back, I would switch to Meijer.

I have been a loyal satisfied customer at the Alpine & Harrison Walgreens for 25 years. Yesterday I made the mistake of coming to this location. I bought a product that was defective. When I returned today, not for a refund but to exchange the defective product for a new one, both the cashier and store manager were uncooperative and rude. They have NO clue what customer service means. I would highly recommend that this Walgreens be AVOIDED because they don’t care about their customers! Shame on them! ???????

I had the pleasure of working with Joy on a prescription that needed refill, but there was an insurance problem. Joy helped me be calling the insurance and getting it straighten out. I had spoke to other staff regarding this same script but there were unable to solve it for what ever reason. However, I am still given Walgreens five stars because of Joy! She took the time to help get it refilled and my husband had his script filled within an hour that day. Thank you, Joy. You are truely an asset to the company.
