If I could give 0 stars I would. Even with my full SSN, the store employees were extremely negligent and unable to provide proper support. I even made sure to provide an image of the front and back of both my state ID and my debit card. Ridiculous and now I have to sit through customer service to get it canceled and order from online.

i was there on December 26th to get a trade in value on my current phone and get a new phone. They looked at my phone and asked me if the screen was scratched and i said no the battery dies fast so i just need a new phone. They told me my samsung 20 note would be an 800 trade in value and gave me an estimate of what my payment would be with the trade in. So i got the ultra 23 and they said i had 30 days to bring the phone back in case there was anything else i needed on my old phone. So January 7th I stop in to briefly return the phone and get my receipt and the guy goes to back room then comes out to tell me the battery is bad so not im not going to get any credit at all. They looked at my phone on the 26th when i was there for 3 hours and adjusted my bill with the credit and then change their mind when i return. And then when i tell them i cant afford the monthly payment if theyre not going to give me the credit they tell me i have to pay 50 restocking fee to get a cheaper phone. And i already bought a new case and screen protector for the new phone. This is misleading and fraudulent I have been a customer for 20 years and this is how they treat their customers. i wish i could give 0 stars and have filed a complaint with the bbb.

This store is a disaster, do not go without an appointment, you will not get help. Worst customer service, told to wait, them 2 people go outside to smoke, and 4 people helping one customer. I'll go to a different place even if it is further away.

Horrible customer service. I do not recommend anyone go to this Verizon store. We had Irish as the person “assisting” us, and he was one of the greasiest salesman I have ever encountered . He kept on trying to put on our bill upgraded plans and different charges, when all we wanted was a phone. He was unhelpful and only tried selling us things we don’t need. Since he was just trying to sell us a bunch of stuff we were in the store for hours. Terrible experience. I am sure there are other good associates within the store, but our experience was bad.

Jason was amazing!! His knowledge and multitasking was impeccable. What a great team member…!!! If anyone is in the Rockford area you absolutely have to go to this location for Verizon. Thanks Jason.

I would give it less but the original experience wasn't so bad. Two years ago we got 3 new phones from here. Two of us traded our phones with the promise of a credit that would be applied monthly against what we owed on the new phones. This roughly turned out to $700. There was a system issue and I guess we should have walked away. Flash forward Two years we don't have our old phones we didn't get our credit and we have spent numerous trips and phone calls to get this taken care of. We have been shown proof that our phone arrived, by fed ex and Verizon and still nothing. One person even said why have you waited so long in between calls. Like the 20 hours of time we have spent already wasn't enough. So it's still "under investigation". I want a new phone but don't trust this place or Verizon to do what they say they will. Maybe it's time to go back to AT&T.

Went to get new phone activated, pictures & video from old phone transferred to new device, & buy some accessories including a screen protector. Multiple customers that came after me were helped before me, & the girl that was going to help me told me she had to take care of a customer that had been there before me first. I waited about 45 mins total, and when she was done helping him, she disappeared to the back. I waited a few minutes, long enough to text my boyfriend filling him in on everything & contemplate whether to leave, and eventually I did end up leaving. I’m glad I did because I went to the location on perryville and was helped immediately, plus, they have a lot of inventory there at the perryville location. I got a screen protector and a MagSafe compatible battery, which this store on e state did not have.

Verizon was sending a friend a phone. He wasn't asked which service to send, nor that there would be any requirements. Verizon used Fed Ex. As friend drives a semi for a living over the road, he had it sent to my address. Fed Ex claimed to be delivering it. .never left a note, nothing. Couple days after supposed to be delivered he called, got a person (difficult because they want online blah) and they have been trying to deliver, but need a signature. Uuuhhhh Verizon, if you're going to use this company, we NEED TO KNOW THESE THINGS. I teach. I'm not home in the morning or evenings this week because of conferences. Had we realized, i wouldve had them come to school to deliver. Then, they want the signature to MATCH customer name? He's 2000 miles away. Verizon stop putting barriers in place. Explain requirements or simply use the USPS so it goes safely in a mailbox.

I made an order online but it didn't process, entered the store & met Josue who helped me find out my identity was stolen and wouldn't be able to get my phones. ? Mary the manager swooped in to Save the Day! I left with more than original order and very impressed with their Customer Service. Great job!?

Mary the manager is rude. She canceled my pick up order without my consent. Caused a big mess that was unnecessary. I quote the sales man I used to make the purchase, this sickens me. Her snarkiness to customers as they walked in was not necessary either.

Walked in to buy a $2,000 phone. Walked out so angry that I'm getting rid of everything verizon and cancelling my account after 7 years. My id had expired and the went absolutely nuts over it giving me a 10 minute lecture on how the FTC is going to shut them down over it. I had other id including a valid account, ss card, mail with my info on it a verizon credit card, etc. Still they were dxpecting the FTC any minute. Wear some tall boots if you go here. Better yet, just avoid this store and go to a different carrier I am now done with this company forever. I don't give my business or money to bs companies with rude employees.

East State st Verizon store was the best help after visiting 3 different Verizon locations. The gentleman (Kevin) was willing to help me and was hopeful the issue would be resolved. We will see, as I'll be traveling soon and will see. A new " sim " card. After 3 other stores never even mentioned that as a possibility.
