I've never been to a Sam's Club before. Definitely not the same as Costco in my opinion, but very similar. A very nice dairy, meat, section, and clothing area. I noticed a very nice Christmas clearance area, with very low prices. I believe that Costco has "higher end" products for sale and wider selection, which makes for better shopping. Sam's Club also has a snack area, but I still go for the $1.58 hotdog and soda at Costco. All in all, it was a nice store, and it looked like it was very well managed.

A little busy at times but with Sam's discount it's worth it. Either pump early or later in the day.

The Rockford IL store is good, but some of the pharmacy staff at this location are horrible. Sometimes I have had a good pharmacy person help me who was very helpful and polite. But several times I have come across pharmacy staff who should not be working there. There is one person in particular who picks up the phone, puts you on hold, and then never answers the phone ever again. I did come across one who is an idiot in my opinion, who looked up my information and said there are no refills left, but when I logged in, I found I had 15 refills left. Next time if I get this idiot I will call in the store manager and report her. She obviously did not know how to operate the computer software.

Gas is very $ cheap! Line is always long so go when you have the TIME & PATIENCE. Since no one seems to have that now a days.

Very cheap gas - there is a line usually … the staff will help if you need it !!! People can be a little pushy trying to hurry … don’t back down. Take your spot !!! Lol

The gas is cheap but to me it's not worth the insane wait and crazy flow of the gas station. They need triple the pumps and a set up like Costco. I'll drive miles further to Costco or Woodman's

Anyone can buy gas here, you get an extra 5 cents off being a Sam's Club member, prices are usually best around
