Pre-paid for 13 weeks for the Sunday paper to be delivered. We are now at week #10 and still no paper. However the next bill had no trouble finding my mailbox...

Rockford doesn't have a newspaper anymore.Since production moved to Milwaukee, they don't care if you subscibe or not. You can call and wait on hold forever.bIt is really sad.

When the RRSTAR chooses to pick a person for Athlete of the week who clearly didn’t win and then reports on it. Where are the minority athletes of the week or are they simply being overlooked? This is just wrong on more than one level and you know it.

Our paper really doesn’t have much information that’s helpful anymore. There isn’t much to the paper to have to pay money for it. I’m a senior citizen and every dollar counts.

In the last 5 days, I have only received one paper on time, that was Tuesday. The Sunday paper was delivered at 8:30. When I did get the Sunday paper, it did not have all the inserts in it. Have called many times and yet nothing has been done to correct the delivery problem. I am still waiting for a call back to date. Have paid for a year and they are not delivering. This is the second week in the last few weeks that this has happened. The first time, they told me that they were having issues with the delivery person. This is just an excuse, not solving the problem. Talking to anyone in Rockford seems to be impossible. It is very frustrating; you can only talk to people in Fort Lauderdale. FL. Ever since they moved to printing the paper in Milwaukee WI, the quality of the paper and the service keeps deteriorated more and more from the quality the paper once was. I have been a loyal customer for over 30 years. I am at my wits end and about ready to cancel my subscription and go to MacDonald's to read it.

The worst newspaper, been calling for months to have my paper delivered at the garage door I can't walk down my driveway to get it it's still at the street.

Can not get anyone to call me back. I have asked repeatedly for a supervisor/manger to return my call. This has been happening for a year for this poor delivery. Mind you it is not for me it is for my grandmother, if it was me I would have cancelled it.

Due to content and delivery issues, we cut back to Sunday only. We were missed 6 out of 8 weeks. Numerous contacts, offers to bring out a paper, and assurances management would correct the problem all failed. Finally got a paper yesterday by placing a large sign with a flashing red light at the end of my driveway. I’m surprised they’re still a daily paper.

GateHouse Media purchased Gannett USA Today last year. Gannett owned the Rockford Register Star. So unfortunately, not any responsible journalism in the Rockford Register Start anymore that reports national news important to the Rockford, Illinois and Northern Illinois. Tried reading the Chicago Tribune and it's really awful. Sad really. Have to go online to the New York Times and Washington Post to get any newsworthy information on the national level.

I signed up and sent my check into to get Sunday only delivery. they cashed the check. no paper. I called every week for 10 weeks. everyone I spoke to took all my information every time and said I would get my back issue and the missed issue. every week the same response. no paper ever came. it is a call center in Florida. they do not care if we get the paper or not. just ridiculous

I am disabled and it is difficult for me to leave my home. I recently moved to a hi-rise for convenience. I continued to receive my paper with no problems for the first couple of weeks. Then during an 8 day period I received a paper 2 times. Each day with no paper I called and was promised one would be delivered. Never got them. I am still unable to get a paper delivered to me. No wonder they have to offer incentives to lure you back. If any other company operated under this fraudulent method the would be sued.

We ordered the paper for 13 weeks and got it for 8 weeks at 24.45 can not talk to any body at the paper this is a scam.
