Get a WRITTEN quote. I got a verbal quote for a rebuilt transmission that seemed very competitive but WHILE the work was being done $500 of additional parts were needed and then when picking up the vehicle, they revealed that the original quote did NOT include labor - another $1,100. Could have saved $200 with the original place. Office person is very nice and Rocco is the sweetest dog. The tranny seems good over these first 200 miles but beware the misleading pricing.

I had my gear shift cable replaced at Reds. They tracked down a cable. My car parts are no longer made. Friendly lady in the office.

They don't schedule appointments; they just tell you to bring in your vehicle. They replaced the axle on my car. The car still had vibrations, but they 'couldn't feel it'. Even though they replaced it and told me that sometimes replacement parts can be defective, they didn't look at it. I brought it back a second time after repair. I told them I wanted to bring it on a day when they had time to look at it. They told me to have it there at 8 a.m. the following Monday. I dropped it off and it sat there all day without them touching it. They did that on purpose. I made a special trip there, bright and early, and they had absolutely NO intention of looking at my care. I will NEVER go there again and I WILL NOT recommend them to anyone.
