The new owner and the new employees feel comfortable dealing with them, warmth and welcome since you entered the store, we always find them busy with cleaning, and I often saw the employees helping the women and the elderly by transferring their purchases to the car with free hospitality, except for their acceptable prices in light of the high prices throughout America and I often watched people selling on credit to others Those who are able to pay and the poor have a clean shop, a wonderful form, and good treatment, and by the way, they accept payment by link. I wish them continued success

It was my first time going to this market to buy cheese and I was surprised to find that all the blocks of cheese in the refrigerator had expired seven months ago!!! This is a safety issue because I wonder about everything else in the fridge and the store in general! Will never be coming back - it was my first and obviously LAST time. The health department needs to come conduct an inspection ?

Every time I go into the store to buy their packaged meats (turkey and chicken breast) they raise the price. First it was $5 a pack, second time: $6, and today I went in and it was $7.99. Apparently, the $7.99 is the "correct price" because the meats are from "Michigan," when they clearly are from Chicago, it is written on the package itself. Anyway, found this to be quite scam-like and will check out other halaal markets in Rockford. Quite dissapointed in this finding because I read the other reviews and wanted to support a local Muslim led shop. Oh well.

As a N.American shopper, I was thrilled to find some old favorites here (Lurpak butter, Lipton Yellow Label tea, Madras Curry Powder), but many products were original to their Middle Eastern manufacture and to this shopper mysterious in how to use them. However, I felt confident that immigrant householders would find many familiar staples as well as generous sizes of herbs and spices frequently used in daily food preparation. The clerk was polite and helpful. The shop accepts SNAP.
