This goodwill was great! I pulled up, dropped off a car full of kids clothes, toys, Christmas stuff, ect and was on my way!!! The gentl was nice and assisted with unloadi my car. Thanks goodwill hopefully someone can use the stuff we no longer need ! 🙏 ❤️

The entire building reeks of some kind of perfume. You can smell it before you can get to the door and once you're inside you can literally taste it on your tongue.

My favorite Goodwill in Rockford. It's small, but loaded with stuff. I always find something great here. It depends on what you're looking for, of course. Prices are typical for thrift stores these days, but a little lower than salvation army.

Asked to hang a poster for Rockford East's High School Musical and was denied. Not even sure if the manager looked at before saying no.
While I like this goodwill overall, it's definitely not that great and goodwill of Illinois is probably one of the worst of the franchises that there is. I'm coming from Nevada where the military discount was everyday. They worked with charities and they gave back to the community. I do not see goodwill of IL doing that and definitely not in Rockford.
And on top of all that, I'm a veteran who has worked with goodwill in the past, the outreach program here in Rockford is abysmal and depressing. These people don't care about the community.

Last three times visiting this Goodwill store over the last ten days the same man had been panhandling asking me for food besides other help inside the store in an isle downstairs at the entry and outside. I was told by staff over the phone he keeps coming back. A shopper also complained.

This location is ok it was just hard trying to find certain clothing items like school uniforms they were mixed in with regular clothes the flow of the store was off but the customer service was great.
