Literally stole half of my belongings from my car. All my money, chargers, some clothes, and my water bottle. Absolutely terrible service. I usually take everything from my car before this but it wasn’t supposed to be there long. Horrible horrible people.

Stopped to ask for an estimate and if the girl at desk was any less cordial she’d be dead. I left. it would literally have taken 60 seconds to estimate just a bump on fender

They did the work, but any shop could have completed the job satisfactorily. The customer service and lack of regards for my personal property in the vehicle entrusted to Gerber Collision cannot be praised. I asked how long it'd taken to repair the hail damage on average, and was told around 2 days. I dropped my car off after hours on a Monday for a Tuesday morning estimate appointment. An employee was moving cars in the parking lot and offered to take my keys. After no word Wednesday, we called to see if everything was okay, and they didn't know my car was even on the lot. An employee searched the lot and was able to locate it. I understand miscommunication happens. They complete the estimate, and I'm told the car should be ready by Friday. Since it was only supposed to take 2 days, i opted to drive my wife's car since she works from home and doesn't need it during the week. My biggest regret was not getting a rental car. I had an out of state trip planned for the weekend, and my wife's car is less than reliable for interstate travel. I get the call Friday that a part broke, and the replacement wouldn't get in until next week. Things break, I can understand that. As my wife says "country girls make do." I took the risk and drove my wife's car for my trip. The new repair completion estimate was Wednesday the week after drop off. On Wednesday I get a call that my car is ready to pickup. About 10 minutes later I get another call that this was a mistake, and that the part came in, but something was missing. New estimate was Friday the week after. Friday, the repair was marked complete, and I get a text that my car is ready to pick up. It took longer than expected, but okay stuff happens. My wife drops me off to pick up my car, but turns out it was another error, and my car still wasn't ready. At this point I can't rationalize their customer service anymore. It wasn't until Thursday of the 3rd week that my car was actually ready. Monday-Wednesday of the 3rd week came with 0 communication of the repair status. When a customer is told twice that their car is ready for pickup when it isn't, you should probably start putting effort into communicating with them. The worst part after picking up my car was that the techs who did the repairs couldn't be bothered to move a stack of prints I made of my artwork in my back seat. They completely ruined them. They did the work, but they didn't effectively communicate, they destroyed personal property, and they took 17 days to complete the repair. A couple of errors can be excused, and I generally try to be understanding when things go wrong. After so many blunders, the only explanation is gross incompetence. Yeah Gerber Collision can do the job, but I actively recommend to anyone who would listen not to trust them with your vehicle or to respect your personal property.Tldr: It took 17 days on a 2 day repair, they didn't adequately communicate, destroyed personal property left in the vehicle, and told me twice that my car was ready for pickup when it wasn't. If you don't like headaches and inconvenience, try going anywhere else.

What fubart place to go , follow thru skills are not available, call you right back doesn't happen. Had me pick up vehicle not clean inside or outside. Vehicle was shaking said they did alignment and ect. Had me leave with a finger width of oil,, knowing I had to tow a vehicle, but hey that's not our fault. Check light came on before I left town. But hey not our fault. Brought it to there attention. But hey 2 weeks later vehicle still parked where I had to leave it. Contacted management no help at all, corporate no help at all. But hey its under warranty, no problem, but hey not our fault, ..

I was involved in a hit and run accident and I have brought my car to this Gerber on Mill Road in Rockford Illinois, I have a 2018 RAV4 Hybrid Limited, This was on March 9th 2023 when someone hit and run me, and I brought my car to you guys, first of all you claimed it took TWO WEEKS to even get the car into the shop... it is now May 10th 2023 and they are not done with it, and 2nd of all I have a friend who went to a different place that was not Gerber he has a BRAND NEW F-150 pickup truck meaning that something that is harder to get parts for because it's brand new and it got fixed within one month!!!!!!!! This is getting to be absolutely ridiculous it is taking forever they are claiming every single time I call that they are on the last step, and they have to call someone Toyota certified to have it calibrated before they give it back to me, I will never use Gerber ever again in my life and they keep saying that my car is guaranteed for as long as you have it for things like chipping paint etc... that does no good for me because I usually get rid of cars within a year or two, I will never use you guys ever again they also don't ever answer the phone just about and when they do it's always some kind of excuse about why the car isn't done yet and that they can't call the people coming to get a exact estimated time when they will be coming bs... they can call and ask they're just lazy I guess, when I was first told that they were coming they said it takes 24 hours generally for them to come this was last Thursday when they said they called them it like 10:00am in the morning... And on Friday they didn't come it is now Thursday night so I don't know if they will be there today but this is a lot more than 24 hours that is 96 hours yesterday and now 120 if not done today... bla bla bla more excuses about not getting it done... I got steered from my insurance company telling me to come here because it would be faster... no they just did that because they knew they could finagle the prices and now I know that you can go anywhere that you want so next time I will actually go to Toyota because they'll have the people to calibrate it and they'll probably get it in and out faster than you guys!!!!! Never EVER EVER AGAIN!!!!!! I am telling everyone of my friends as well about to not use you guys... good luck running your business this way... I wish i could give you a negative star instead of a 1 star never again!!!!!!

Jennifer was very helpful and honest with us. She really tried her best to go through our estimate and cut down what she could. Ultimately, she recommended we try another local place. She was very thorough and considerate with us and is an absolute gem to the establishment!
