What’s the point of having a phone and workers but no one answers the phone ever 1 out of 10 times someone’s gonna answer the phone. I don’t recommend this bank. I’m new here and I already see in the future. I’ve already verified myself in person. They want me to come back for another verification. I still haven’t received a debit card. It’s been over two months. What a terrible bank. I haven’t been able to access online or the app. In the beginning was a process cause they messed up with my filing stuff. This bank is not worth it. Your money in a boxspring..

Went to this branch to get MY money!!!! so I could buy something they told me they didn't have it!!!! to go to a different branch!!! What really then they wanted to give me $8,000 in twenties I didn't bring a suitcase to put it in ridiculous!!!! Worst Branch I've been to yet so far...

I been with fifth third since I was in highschool they use to be a good bank now I'm almost 30 in fifth third has become a horrible bank the last 5 times money has been transferred out my account without my consent from people commiting fraud and the bank has done nothing to help the last 5 times And now it happen again the bank sat there and let foreigner from another country take 100 out my account and fifth third has done nothing to help me they basically taking the foreigner words over mines Now I'm in the negative I am closing this bank that support fraud dont do business with this bank. Then everytime my job pays me fifth third bank want to know where I get my money from but won't handle fraudulent activities. I highly do not recommend all fifth third banks

I would never recommend this bank to anyone. They lost my payments for my car loan for 2 months. Telling me I had to repay when I had proof I already paid it.They do NOT return phone calls. I have been waiting 3 days for a call back.The customer service? Terrible. The ladies speak to you with an attitude and are not nice at all.

I really hate that I can never get a hold of anyone. Especially when something major is wrong with my account. Called the number to get a return call and never received a call. I love the workers, but Id hate to leave due to the lack of communication.

All the 53rd bank are horrible. They dont know what they have or what they are doing. We live 30miles to the nearest 53 bank. We have some dovuments needed a signature from the branch manger and a madellion stamp. We called before. They said they could do that. We went they said they only had the rubber stamp.they suggested to try other branches. We were going to rockford in two days so we called the one at riverside rd in Rockford. We stressed what we needed n made an appointment for that. So we went out of our way 10miles to that branch at the appointment time. Their manger told us they were in the process getting that. I was pissed. Then they called the McFarland branch to ensure they have at 3. We are here at 2:45 . They said the manager who can stamp is in meeting till 330. They are really dont know what they ate doing. They may think gas price is 10cents a gallon. And ppl are all retired floks.this bank sucks.

I went to this bank for guidance. My mother passed away and I needed to close her account. I didn't have all the information I needed and stopped at this branch for help. Not only was I belittled by Jim, I was made to feel like I was trying to pull a scam. I left in tears as my mother just passed away. I would rather have her here instead of having to close her account. He was absolutely no help and the little information he provided was completely wrong. I went to the other branch location Rockford and they were kind. They helped me figure out what I needed. Shame on you for no compassion when it comes to dealing with a deceased family members account.

Customer service is the worst! If you have any problems or issues, you have to call the center somewhere overseas, then wait on hold for ever. Don't bother going to the branch, all the "PERSONAL BANKERS" will be busy, so you will have to make an appointment. I had an issue where my CC was compromised by someone taking 2 cash advances at a Hard Rock Cassino. So my only option was to cancel the card. They sent me another card and they flagged a $30 charge and 2 $0.0 charges and froze the card. I did my duty and called the call center, after waiting for the customary 30 minutes I asked about the suspected charges, told them that they were OK, but that didn't take. 2 days later my card was denied, for the same suspected charge, I've been on hold now for 53 minutes, all the while being LIED TO by the recording telling me that my call is important to them. By the way, no one at the bank will tell me why 2 CASH ADVANCES AT A CASSINO ARE NOT SUSPICIOUS. After another 55 minutes on hold with the call center, I find out that my new card was placed on hold for a suspicious $5.00 refund, and that my call of a week ago that started this mess, did not register my rejection of the Hard Rock charges. So, after 1.5 hour on hold and talking to the Fraud Department, I was transferred to CUSTOMER DISSERVICE, when she asked for my info, she HUNG UP ON ME. IF YOU ARE THINKING OF SELECTING 5/3 BANK, DON'T! PICK ANOTHER BANK, THAT WILL TALK TO YOU IN PERSON, AND ATTEMPT TO FIX PROBLEMS CREATED BY THE BANK.
