I always used this shop whenever I needed repairs or parts replaced. It was a bit pricey but my dad always came here whenever he needed the car serviced or parts replaced. I wont do it again though. Whether it was malicious intent or a stupid mistake, two issues were found on my vehicle when I brought it to my friend who works at a Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram dealership/repair shop. The first being the Steering fluid being over full which can lead to future expensive issues. The second being what looked like someone took a screwdriver and pride up near the High side A/C port where you charge the Freon which would allow a slow leak over time. The way the A/C was damaged with the markings looked intentional. Which makes me believe them over filling the steering fluid was as well. I have heard them ask me on two occasions of I wanted my freon charged, which shouldn’t be a question even because the freon is a closed system that should almost never need a charge unless there is a leak of some kind. Id suggest anyone who has gone here to check their steering fluid and A/C if it has stopped working after visiting this place for any work.

This place is horrible!!!
On 3/18/2024 I traveled 2 hours to Rockford for work. Having noticed a nail in my passenger-side rear tire, I googled F&F Tire World and dropped my vehicle off before requesting an Uber to work. Before leaving, I explained to (Manager) David Adams that I travel often for work, and needed the nail removed so that I could safely continue my extensive travel. I even pointed out where the nail was. Mr. Adams said he would call me when the repair was made. By 1PM, nobody from F&F had called, so I called them. Mr. Adams stated that no nail was found, the rims were wiped down, and the vehicle was ready for pick-up. He suggested that the rims needed to be cleaned-up and that was causing the slow leak and low tire indicator light. I requested his cell phone number and sent him a photo of the tire with the nail in it, circled in red (by the Google pen feature). Mr. Adams texted back that he saw it and would remove the nail and patch the hole. I left work an hour early to retrieved my vehicle. Mr. Adams explained the repair in detail and how the nail was observed upon additional inspection, I paid him, thanked him, and exited. Just a few days later, while pumping gas, I noticed the same nail, in the same tire, exactly where I chalked it! I concluded the tire was rotated with the nail facing down when I retrieved the vehicle. I called F&F, spoke to Mr. Adams, and expressed my displeasure at him taking my money and providing no service. He lied to me, plain and simple. He offered to send me my money via mail, and did so... minus the change.
Perhaps because I was passing through, am not from Rockford, or for any other number of reasons, Mr. Adams and/or his team did not think it necessary to tell me the truth, nor perform the service for which they were paid. If they did this concerning a small repair, I hazard to think what they would do (or not do) for a larger, more costly repair! This place is a fraud, and I suggest that everyone take their business elsewhere! They will defraud you and think nothing of it!

Very bad service they did not stay behind there work. I did alignment and they did dot right I called them to came back which I did and David told me he can do it because they are going to close in two hours. So bad place.

I have been going to this location for 8 yrs and today they charged my daughter $70 for oil change. They said her car only takes synthetic. I called them and questioned them on it and he said you can call 10 places around us they will tell you the same thing... well I did and I was told it's recommended but not required... I 100% think they took advantage of her because she is a young girl . So they lost me as a customer. I hate when businesses take advantage of customers . I won't be recommending this location to anyone.

I had my muffler fall off as I was driving. I am a disabled vet I only have one leg I pulled into the tires plus in Cherry Valley IL and Mike and Steve all though they were very busy, pulled my van in and fixed it for me right away. I thought kindness and customer service were a thing of the past but these two gentlemen prove there are still some businesses still put the customers first. Thanks again and God bless you

I called to see what was wrong with my car with very short notice as I work a lot and other places were rude or just busy or cost just to get things looked at. I spoke to cody on the phone and he was extremely nice and let me come in right away with no appointment needed. He has been nothing but honest and sweet with what all is going on with my vehicle and was very quick to get it looked at as others have told me it'd take an hour or more and couldn't get me in the same day. I highly recommend him to anyone!!

Had an unexpected tire blow after hitting debris on way to pick up family at O'Hare from northern Wi. None of the other dealers would help us. Friday afternoon. Spent three hours asking 8 other places to please help us because we were getting really late to airport. These guys dropped what they were doing, found a tire that was the right size and had us back on the road in fifteen minutes. Super reasonable cost, too. Absolute answered ?. Thank you!

Great honest place. Nate is the best.Another place told me I needed front brakes and these guys told me it was actually the rear brakes and that the front brakes were fine for now. I will be a return customer.
