I have owned this Hammer forever. I got it from my Dad and he got it from his Dad.It is a 16oz leather wrap hammer. The leather is coming off and I would Like to get it rewrapped. I called the manufacturer and they told me that they would not repair any tools because of a government law. That's to bad.Makes me sad.The Hammer has worked fantastic over the time that we have had it.Maybe it's time for a new hammer.

There's no better hammer, axe, or flat bar you can buy. I've been in construction for almost 30 years and I've always used an estwing. Almost all the men in my family are in some kind of trade and we all use estwing hammers. Me my father, uncle, brother, and both my son's use these hammers and not one of us has had any issues with them. Even my wife owns one. If your looking to purchase a new hammer definitely go with an estwing no matter what trade your in you won't be disappointed. Thank you estwing for making these products so we can keep building.. God bless America

To preface, I owned several Estwing products before purchasing the special edition campers axe. The quality on a "special edition" product made by Estwing is pure garbage. I'd tell everyone to save their money and buy the regular axe for half the price. My axe was painted so poorly it had large drips in the paint and sediment embedded in it. Someone took so little care in the QC department that it somehow passed.Very disappointed in your quality and your responses through your sales department. Had 13 messages back and forth and not once did I receive an apology on such "great" workmanship. This experience has turned me off on Estwing and I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I own many Estwing products. From a tack hammer to 3 different rock picks, 5 different axes and and 1 each of the drop forged knives plus several others. The only thing I could find issue with was the cheap nylon sheaths made in Taiwan.Other than that, they’ve all been some of the best tools I use...Thanks Estwing...

I love my Estwing hammer, it has been a really good hammer for cleaning mortar off of brick, it is pretty comfortable on the hand & will split bricks like they aren't even stuck to each other, it has made the job a lot easier & I couldn't ask for a better tool, I would recommend this hammer to anyone who does this type of work, it's a lot better than the hammer I started off with.
