“Great place to find high quality decorations and home items. I am able to find unique food items that can't be found anywhere else. I purchase imported honey for $10 a jar which is 12 oz to 16 oz when it's $40 everywhere else. They give you a no-hassle policy on food returns which is great because I had the misfortune of getting an OOPS! ALL HONEYCOMB! instead of honey.
They have unique kitchen utensils and gadgets. They have road safety equipment at half the price than everywhere else in clearance. I got lucky getting Stanley brand equipment over half the cost than Amazon or Walmart.
The international kitchenware such as noodle, ramen and teapot from Japan, Korea and China and very high quality as well. I bought a lot of European decor which is heavily in short supply from Ancient Rome and Ancient Greece which are my favorite such as Augustus and Artemis.
Michaels is outright overpriced and sells outright useless garbage. It's just another Big Lots.”

“I shop at Meijer at least three times a week, I always find what I need. if you go during sales and clip the digital coupons you can save alot over Walmart and aldi. The produce and deli area could use a little more help, I always use the self checkout and twice a nice, wonderful and helpful cashier named Shelley W. Was very informative and helpful I give her 20 stars thank you shelly:) yet some of the employees can argue about the 5for 5 OR MORE or the 7for7 OR MORE they need to be trained on the more part because some items don't ring up as they should so they argue you have to buy 7 more even though I just got 9 at a $1.00 that is considered more, the computer error needs to be fixed and the employees more respectful and not tell the customer WHATEVER and walk off.”
“Macy's is considered to be a High End store. I love the bedding and furniture they have. The Estee Lauder facial care is great! I have recently switched to Lan'Come for my facial needs. Trying to see which brand is more exclusive to my needs. Ordering is ok. I've had some problems with it, but overall I can't complain too much.”

“If you asked me weeks ago about family dollar I’d say no way I’ll go somewhere else but recently I ran in there for pop and was amazed at how clean&different the store looked before you’d go in there’d be boxes to the ceiling,the shelves were bare customers digging thru boxes trying to find what they needed and the clothes was a disaster now I went in there about 3 days ago and OMG!!! no boxes stacked up,shelves are stocked,the clothes are neat and the store just looks cleaner I give the new employees lots of credit bc that store was a disaster and with their hard work it’s done a 360 definitely will go back??????”

“I use the home delivery service and have had no problems with them that weren't solved right away! If something is missing,which rarely happens, it is fixed right then! No waiting a week for refund. The convenience of delivery same day, within a few hours is wonderful and I only use my Walmart every time”
“The auto service manager, Michael at the Walmart in Rockford on Walton is a hidden gem! He is VERY knowledgeable of products, services, compliances, etc. It also looks as if he runs a pretty tight-ship by taking notice of all that's going on in the department. I recommend you to go to this location for auto services.”

--CONS: the self-checkouts are awkward and the cashier lines are often long.
