Their customer service has declined in efficiency drastically. It's impossible to find an agent to help you and once you get to the right department you're waiting an extra 20-30 minutes just for someone who knows anything to talk to you.
I saw an old couple walk in the same time as me and they were stuck standing and waiting in the middle of the store with no help for 20 minutes and when a manager finally came by they told them they wouldn't be helped right away but instead had to wait for whenever the designated person decided to show up. I almost wish I was a tech expert so I could walk around and help people in best buy since their associates weren't doing so.
I walked around the store seeking to buy something in my price range but there was no one there to even attempt to convince me to buy anything. No sales associates here. The only people I saw doing a good job was the door greeter and the lady helping at the return booth. I wouldn't know about geek squad cuz I didn't go over there.

I purchased a phone and accessories totaling over $1800. That's not alot for a tech store but it's a weeks paycheck to me. I was told my items ordered would arrive on a specified day. Some items showed up but the main device ( the phone) did not. Now I have a specified time to pick up my items or else they will send them back and cancel my order. How ever all the accessories showed up so they want me to pick up the accessories with out the device. And they do not know when my device will be there. While talking to management another person came to cancel their order due to it being over 3 weeks past due date. How ever when I ordered it from Samsung it came to my house with in 2 days.... how can a no body like me get my phone from Samsung faster than I high end tech store? Weird. Suspicious. Maybe their employees are not checking what gets shipped in? Idk weird.

I can't believe there was only one check out lane. It was also used for customer service. It took 10 minutes to checkout.

I grew up around best buys, it was our go-to electronic store after circuit city and radio shack went under.... Its your run of the mill best buy, but MAN it's almost impossible to find someone to help you get things from locked cases

If I could give zero stars, I would.
Had a scheduled appointment to have a dash cam and radio installed in truck.
They couldn’t find my account, they didn’t know it was a truck, AND tried upselling on multiple occasions after already getting previous pricing on the phone.
Left with nothing installed.
Would not recommend buying or getting things installed here.

Employees are friendly, but the system sucks. Products not available that the website says are in stock. Check-out is combined with customer service and pick-up, so long lines. Long wait for assistance on the floor.

I will be going to another Best Buy after my experience with store associate/sony expert Alex. I understand you need to sell and convince customers but that does not mean you need to be pushy. He insisted on opening a credit card after I said we just purchased a home a day prior, why would I do that! He rolled his eyes when we said no to the $1500 TV he was trying to sell to us. We had to say no 5 different times until he would understand we were there for what we wanted and get out. Made the quick in and out longer than expected

They need more sales staff helping customers. I was waiting for 30 mins to get someone to see me on a TV that I already picked out and was ready to buy. Also people are not going to DM on Instagram/Twitter/Facebook. What's the point of Google reviews if you want us to message another social media. Also asking for an address and full name seems a little too much. In order to fix your problems start with management. The manager I talked to could have helped me but told me to wait as he walked off to go chat with another employee.

This place is disorganized and overpriced, their selection is not great, and they make questionable merchandising decisions. Checkout can be kind of slow as well. Any purchase I do make here generally feels like more trouble than it's worth.
Case in point: I went in looking for a $12 USB to SATA adapter. Asked one employee, and they didn't understand what I meant. So I looked around on my own for a bit and found them locked in a case (next to a bunch of $50+ parts that were NOT locked up). I asked at the customer service counter, and they called someone to come open it. After a few minutes, someone grabbed the product from the case and left it for me at the counter, since they aren't allowed to hand locked-up products to a customer.
While browsing for other things, I found the same adapter in a different area of the store, NOT locked up. So I grabbed another one off that shelf. When I went to check out, someone had misplaced the one that was supposed to be waiting for me.
I eventually walked out with the thing I needed, but the entire process was frustrating and baffling.

I mean.... I've never been to a store that has so much empty shelves.

The cashier Chris walked away after my purchase even though someone was waiting behind me to check out. Plus he favored pickups over checking the obviously longer line. Not impressed.

Customer service is bottom shelf. They don't care about the customers at all. Promised delivery dates mean nothing! Go elsewhere even if you have to pay a little more.

I called 4 time calling and not able to talk to anyone at the store about a best buy brand tv 1 year and 2 months ago and it died 2 days after Christmas. My son and I went to get something for his computer. The people we talked to didn't know much and based on what they told us we needed it was the wrong thing and we had to return it and get the correct thing. But even the 2nd day we spoke with several people and they didn't know much either. My son had to google to get the info so he could buy the right thing. Sad he had to figure out himself what he needed. Good thing he loves computers and knows about them.
