Service was not bad except, I forgot to pay one of the $1.90 tolls on the website, so Alamo kindly paid it for me for a $25 additional fee... ridiculous.

Jim at the Punta Gorda Airport location checked us in this morning. He was bright eyed, efficient, and, friendly. His chipper personality brightened our morning.

The people are great there but there policies suck. Never get the prepaid fuel service. I got charged double. At tithe counter when I picked up the car they charged me a price and when I returned it they charged me an additional hidden fee for taxes of $16.16. Why didn’t they charge me full price one time instead of hidden prices …..do not recommend

Worst rental car experience. Had issues getting a car in ohare so we called to confirm we could get a car in Rockford. Alamo confirmed our reservation so we paid $85 for a Uber from ohare. We get to Rockford and the rude attendant informs us that she canceled our reservation. She said she called us, which is a lie since we had no missed calls. Totally sold out of cars too. Horrible customer experience.

Was charged over $20 for tolls that I paid by cash. They took it directly off of my credit card and customer service will not give me a refund. I might have overlooked this but I was charged double the price to drive home during the corona outbreak. I understand supply and demand but the tolls are what took me over the edge.

First let me say, I have only ever rented from Alamo. I have always had amazing service and this experience for me really made me question my loyalty. Two years ago, I rented from this location and had amazing customer service, so that is what I expected this time as well. To say that I had even close to great customer service is a stretch. I had reserved a van for our vacation months before we were so to leave. This morning ( the day of pick up with a pick up time of 8:00 am) I got a call at 7:15 that went to voicemail stating that they did not have a van available, for my rental. I always try to get the best deal so the night before I looked once again at the other rental companies that share the counter and they wanted close to $800 for a van. I was only paying around 400 and some change. Immediately after I got the voicemail I attempted to call them back and was sent to voicemail. I had worked the night before and had a coworker drop me off. He stated that he had a nice Cadillac suv so I agreed to look at it. Well instead of letting me look at it, he rang it up and I had to walk all the way to the lot by myself to the car. My previous experience the worker went and got the vehicle and had me look at it with him to assess damage and make sure I was in agreement with the vehicle.When I got to the vehicle I opened it up and it was clear it had not been cleaned. The inside was greasy and there was crumbs and other things all over the car. It was way to small for our needs and it was gross. I walked all the way back inside and let them know. They then said they were going to go and get the suburban for me. I waited for him to come back. Once again instead of ensuring I was happy with the vehicle they redid the paperwork and sent me off ion my own. Once I got to the vehicle it too was dirty. You could tell someone tried to clean it fast. I said whatever and drove it home. My husband had to clean the vehicle and was pulling used tissues out from between the seats and garbage. I am in awe at how no one thought to ensure that the vehicle that was to be picked up at 1st thing in the morning was available. The lady who was working just kept saying this is my first day back since covid. The gentleman appeared irritated that I was upset. Not only did they not have my vehicle, but they also put me and my family behind schedule. This unfortunately caused a huge delay in our day. We ended up with a suburban which people say is luxury. While they did swap out the vehicle, we still are paying more in gas then we had budgeted. I am super disappointed at the lack of customer service and at no time was there ever an apology. He tried to make me feel bad for him by saying that I wasn’t the only person who was going to be without a van and he wasn’t sure what he was going to do.

I reserved a car at the airport, when I got there they had no car a avaliable, said they would have one early afternoon never called. Came back went to Avis boom I get a car! So Alamo is forever AlaNO!

The car had the no smoking label but the previous renter did not respect the request the car smelled horribly. The dashboard was really dirty and car need a wash. The location is perfect and customer service was great...

I'd rate zero stars if I could. Reserved the car through Allegiant Alamo and when my plane landed the Alamo desk was closed. I'm now stranded at the airport on Christmas Eve with 2 children. How does this happen when I reserved -and already paid for- a car?!

I've been to Vegas twice in the last two months and used Alamo both times. They really took care of me the first time after some nut decided to take all the car keys in the row and wondered off while he decided which car he wanted. They have a very efficient operation and some great rates going at the time I rented.
