“What a wonderful place to shop with so very many varied stores! I went to Hy-Vee to shop for a pre-made, quick supper (Meatloaf coated with ketchup and served with buttered mashed potatoes. Comfort food that a person can warm up in the microwave!). “Of course Loewes is another one of those places that when you go in, ideas start to flow. I found several "project starter" ideas in the ailes & end caps of the store. If you want ideas, or know exactly what you want, this is the place for you. I have never been disappointed with the quality of products or the selection at a Loewes. Always a friendly staff, a clean store, and good fair prices.”
“Devonport Commons has quite a few stores so it is convenient when you have to pick up lots of different stuff. These are some of the anchor stores in the Commons: Walmart, Sally Hair Supplies, Dick’s House of Sport, Golf Galaxy and Hobby Lobby. The WalMart store there relies too heavily on self checkouts and doesn’t seem to have enough open or ready. People get confused as to which ones are open and it seems to cause a lot of frustration there. I am a WalMart + subscriber so I use the Scan and Pay in the app on my phone so that I don’t spend much time at the checkout. You just scan a box on the screen and pay and that’s it. I love that I’m through the front end in a couple minutes and on my way out the door. It’s a great way to shop! I usually end up checking out Hobby Lobby and Dick’s before driving home too. Check it out next time you’re in Davenport!”
“There are many different types of businesses but there are many empty store fronts I would like to see a family oriented diner or ice cream parlor come here. Dollar Tree just opened a new store last week and I will be stopping in today.”

“My husband and I had a very negative experience with one of the butchers at the HyVee on Devils Glen in Bettendorf on July 2, 2023, so I had posted a negative review of their butcher counter on Yelp. Management from that HyVee store reached out to us the very next morning and apologized for what had happened. They did make things right with us and so I am changing my negative review to a very positive one. This HyVee location clearly does care about the quality of service they provide to their customers. I highly recommend this HyVee location.”

“I recently came to the Embassy Square Mall to stop for a tea at Wholly Grinds Coffee Shop. I've driven by this area many times, most often on trips either to Alfanos Pizza or on the way to visit friends in Milan.This area is in good general condition. There is a large parking lot that doesn't have large holes or other defects necessary to avoid when searching for a parking space. The lines indicating parking spaces and direction of travel through the lot are clear, as though they were painted relatively recently.I'd come back to Embassy Square Mall again to get a tea at Wholly Grinds in the future. I'd also consider getting food at Chopsticks if in the area and in the mood for Asian food. Overall, I felt comfortable navigating the parking lot and parking my car here. I hope the area continues to be well maintained and adds other businesses.”
