“We have serviced our jeep here twice. They are awesome to deal with. The second time, we knew something major was wrong with the jeep but another shop was unable to diagnose it. Took it into Hughes and they gave us a prioritized list of repairs (only 3) and assisted us with different pricing options. They were very good at explaining all of the issues and our options. The jeep is now fixed, despite another shop claiming they couldn’t find anything wrong (it was shaking severely).”

“I can't thanks this establishment enough. We were driving from Chicago to Iowa City when we got a slow leak in our tire. I called to Erickson's and they told me to be there at 1:30. It was only about 90 minutes and we still needed to make it there. After filing the tire 5 times to get there (the slow leak came a monster), we pulled in at 1:20. In no time, the car was pulled into the bay and found it was beyond repair. But, lucky for us we had a full size spare. They put the spare on and gave us our old tire and all of that happened in about 15 minutes. More than enough time to get to Iowa. City for the weekend wedding we were attending. So, thank you a million times for being kind, finding time for us and the VERY inexpensive bill at the end. Just amazing and so kind. If we lived in Moline, I would have brought you cookies. DEB”

They are very good about scheduling appointments and running on time. We find their prices to be very reasonable compared to other shops. And we prefer to support locally owned businesses. I came to Lindell’s after hearing some good things from a coworker, and I’m so glad I did!The oil change was $40 cheaper than a nearby chain shop my husband went to last month. They replaced my windshield wipers and hand washed it for me because it was pretty bad. I also needed an issue to be looked at which I know could be pretty expensive. Jake looked everything over free of charge and gave me a write up AND detailed explanation. Even though I came by myself, there was no pressuring at all. “I've been going to Valvoline Instant Oil Change in Bettendorf for a while now, & they've consistently provided top-notch service. The location is great, and they're always incredibly efficient & fast. I stopped in today when I was in a bit of a hurry, and as usual, they got me in and out without delay.
One thing I appreciate about this place is that while they will let you know about additional services they offer or suggest based on your vehicle’s needs, there's never any high-pressure upselling. It’s nice to know they respect your decisions AND budget.
Madelynn, the manager, was particularly helpful today. She explained some aspects of my vehicle's operation that I had never heard before, and the information was both helpful and practical. She knew my truck better than I did. :-). It's clear she's very knowledgeable, and I appreciated the insights. “It was my first visit here. I had a coupon for a road ready check-up. $139.99, and they did a great job with everything and informed me I needed brakes and rotars. Wasn't something I was prepared for, but ok'd the work. I hadn't expected to be there for additional work and had medication I needed to take but needed food. One of the employees offered to go a couple blocks away and grab me a cheeseburger so I could take my blood thinner. I wanted to pay him, but he graciously refused. I will probably call them because after leaving, my car was pulling left and previously went straight down the highway. They rotated my tires, so it is possibly a tire issue. I am certain whatever it is, they'll make it right. All the employees were very friendly and the place was well kept.I highly recommend Carx if you need any work done that is within their realm of expertise.”
