“One of the only laundrymats still open 24/7 after COVID hit. One down side is there isn't anyone available if you need immediate assistance. One night I just got done throwing laundry into the washer when my daughter dropped her sippy cup so her chocolate milk spilt out all over. I tried cleaning it up but there were no paper towels in the bathroom or next to the sink by the change machines.”
“My winter coat needed cleaning & anew red zipper replaced & a seam re-sewn. My coat looked brand new but it's not. I was impressed with the seamstress that she was able to find a red zipper for the length that was needed & the red color to match my coat. Excellent job ? done. Desk service was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions about laundromat, this was my first time at the Eastern Ave location .It was mildly busy at the time of day, and clean. I will definitely be returning with my business.”
“They are extremely fast, and the lady who runs the place is super nice. They even cleaned a suit twice for me once because the liner bled through (manufacturer issue) free of charge! Great business.”

“This place is neat and clean as a pin. I was here with a show at the arena and it's a short walk from there.Out of 20 washers and 21 dryers I only saw one machine out of order. However, BRING CASH. This is a coin operated laundry and although they have a working change machine there is no ATM on site. The nearest ATM is at the bus station across from the arena.”
“I don’t have a washer and dryer right now so having burkes available for wash and fold is a god send for me. Price is well worth it. I love all the girls at the girls at the drive thru. So nice”

“The woman tending to the laundromat is always pleasant when I come to do my laundry, and the fact that I can get a hamper full of laundry done for about 5 bucks is part of the reason I return. The place is always relatively clean, but you obviously can't make heads or tails of that. Regardless, the place is great.”
“Cleanest laundromat in the quad cities. It's really nice on the inside, understandable prices on the machines and they also have a couple TVs in there so you can sit and watch whatever you please while waiting for your laundry”
“I've been coming to this laundry mat for Year's very clean place!!!!! The new owners are wonderful smiley+aswell they clean after every use of there washers an dryers that's a plus very friendly polite and take every need into their customers !! Highly recommend!!”

“For decades, as needed, I have used this laundromat. It is always clean and reasonably priced. The front and rear entrances have doors which easily open in both directions. There is detergent, etc. for sale and they have 3 change machines so you'll never have to worry about quarters being unavailable.”
“I have 1 coat that gets really dirty and worn out by the end of winter- and Burke's gave it new life! The 2 women associates I have interacted with are so friendly and helpful- great experience!”

“I have lived here for 4 years. They currently have a great management team. The maintenance guys are great. I must add that after reading other reviews they currently have GREAT office staff now. It was rough here with staff for a bit. But it has been wonderful dealing with the friendly staff now. Our maintenance team worked hard with the snow storm and are willing to answer any of my questions and concerns. They have been working hard to remodel or remove homes here. Always worth a look here.”

“Reasonable price, and somewhat clean space.The bathrooms were ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE last time I went. I just had to use the bathroom and found myself holding my nose the whole time.Though it is a laundromat, and on that front, they're doing just fine.”

“I used to go to this laundromat back in 2005 and I enjoyed it except back then people would smoke in there. Now in 2024 my washing machine is broken so I came back. It's nice. Get my stuff done quickly. Only complaint is that it's hot and stuffy inside and the bathroom could use a soap dispenser.”
