IH has been providing banking services to our family for over 30 years, and today I felt privileged to belong to this credit union. Customer service representative Jennifer supported me in setting up a meeting with the right person, and Shaneka Pernell helped us with my mother's banking requirements. Previously, when my mother attempted to close out a deceased relative's CD and account, she encountered some resistance from another team member suggesting she needed an attorney to complete the transaction. However, today working with Shaneka was a pleasure, and she was really helpful. The process went smoothly as it should have. Thank you!

Talked to Sarahi and she was super helpful. I hate having to call a bank it’s always a terrible process but Sarahi helped me and make it smooth!

All depends on who answers the phone, one customer service agent was great, helpful, polite… The other agent was the exact opposite of all those things. I do not live in Rock Island but wouldn’t bank here if i did. No need to have someone be a j*** “just because they can”. Plenty of other places to bank!

Horrible customer service and long wait times. Used to be a decent bank. Definitely don't use them for business purposes they will keep on you and make you do flips for them.

Worst customer service ever. Everytime I call, I'm on hold for at least 15 minutes. And every time I go in the building, there are at least 4 people standing around doing nothing, while I have to wait in line. At one point in time I had a serious problem with my account and was told the manager would be contacting me. I waited 2 weeks before going back in, because I had not heard from anyone about my account. The whole situation was an absolute mess, and they didn't even apologize for the mess up.

Personally, I love IHMVCU and all they have done for ME.However, my wife has had nothing but problems since being added to my account jointly. I have been forced to produce the same paperwork two, sometimes three, times to get simple things done. Card activation is also made harder as they made her go through a lengthy process of yet again proving who she was instead of just letting it be activated automatically via the 800 number like mine was.From my lived experience it feels as if there is a discriminatory stance toward spouses as they are not treated as equal members of the same account. So just be aware of the hoops they will make you jump through as they consistently lose and misplace the paperwork you provided and had scanned weeks earlier.That said, the services are nice, the app is great, and the staff are professional and courteous. Once everything is working, it works and works well.

Have a loan here. Missed a call from them this morning, tried calling back, but the automated system doesn't accept input. Tried from two other phones/phone numbers as well. I'm IT, I /know/ this issue is not on my end at this point. Now I get to keep trying something that likely just isn't going to work until it does, wait until they call me back, take off work, or wait until the weekend (5) days from now to figure out if something is wrong with my car loan.I'm sure the employees are nice, but the systems supplied by the decision makers here definitely aren't. Having a single phone number for every location didn't help, either. Automation isn't always better.

Since you have changed over to the teller machines its just not personal anymore and you keep pushing me to use them when im in line inside,enough already!
