Hometown feel and great, friendly service. Stocks all the basics for emergency repairs and weekend projects, saving local customers a trip to Springfield. If they don't have what you need in stock, and if TrueValue carries it, they will order it for you. The owner's wealth of experience - which he is patiently willing to share - makes his advice and guidance a tremendous resource for a do-it-yourselfer like me, with far more ambition than knowledge and skill. They also carry a good selection of specialty tools and equipment for rent, and a UPS shipping terminal is an added bonus. All in all, the store is a valuable asset for our community and I highly recommend it.

Went to rent an yard seeder and the owner rudely lectured me on how to use it. No tact or customer service. Explaining how to use it is one thing, he was not nice at all. Have not been back since

Great to have the basics without going into Springfield. They even carry several home supplies since the local grocery store closed. Family friendly and always helpful, even if they don't have what you need.
