Ann, Amber, Randy, and John have made the transition for us from natural gas service to propane very easy. Randy and John ran a second line for us to service additional appliances. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and adherence to safety protocol were exemplary. We feel we made a great decision in trusting Hicks Gas in Roberts for our propane needs.

Randy (Roberts, IL) is an amazing employee you have! I had put in a ticket for my tank to be repainted and he called me and told me he would be out to get it all fixed up and he sure was! He peeled the paint and repainted it within 24hrs! He did an amazing job making it look nice and new again. I can’t recommend him enough. He’s hard working and dedicated to his customers.

Horrible place to do business. They do not care about thier customers. They will tell you they are going to come do a pressure test on the lines and then when they dont show up they will tell you that they cant in good conscience come out to do the test. They also take it upon themselves to call electric companies for help just because the house didn't have lights on. All they had to do was flip a switch to get lights. They take advantage of the fact that there arent many companies for propane. If you need propane or a tank go to illini fs or amerigas both are far better companies than corrupt old hicks gas.

This company has the worst customer service, and very unprofessional staff. Nick, the manager showed a total disregard for the safety of my family just because I had a private owned tank that Hicks Gas had been filling with there gas. I called at 4pm to report a gas leak at the regulator on the tank. Granted it isnt there tank, but it's their gas and my money that paid for it, but due to it being Valentine's Day and Nick getting fitted for a tuxedo they couldn't come out until 2:30pm the next day. Total lack of care and disregard for safety and human life. They only care about getting money from the customer, rather than the customers themselves.
