“I have been a regular customer of the Print Refinery in Vernon Hills for over two years. At first I used them to print my photographs but I have expanded into using them for so many other products that they offer. While cleaning out a relatives house that passed away I discovered a treasure trove of old family photos that I never knew existed, some nearly 100 years old. I brought them into the Refinery and they were able to create two incredible family albums from the photographs I provided. Some photos although old and not stored properly were able to be restored preserving the memories from years past. I was amazed! Recently I decided to create a book of photographs for two nieces that enjoy photographs of wildlife and flowers. With the help of Samantha's ideas and suggestions we created photo books for my 5 and 7 year old niece's that they cherish because they were created especially for them.
The best thing about Print Refinery is the excellent customer service which I have received whenever I go into the store. Yes, they provide great products but it's also the feeling that you are a valued customer. So many places will just conduct sales transactions but at Print Refinery I feel they are listening to me about how I want the finished product to look and then delivering excellent results. I have had an outstanding experience using Print Refinery in Vernon Hills.”

“The "quick" in their name isn't just fluff... They have lightning-fast turnaround on orders! There have been a few jobs where we needed printed materials in under two or three hours, and Ken's pulled it off without any crazy rush charges. I've even had small jobs completed before I got there, after a quick cross-town drive - that's fast! They use good paper, their equipment must be pretty dependable stuff that's well maintained, and someone must be monitoring quality. No errors. No crumpled up misfeeds. Consistent quality coverage with no weird banding. No registration problems. No inaccurate colors. No cracks on folds. No surprise price hikes or oddball "gotcha" fees. Their technicians never seem to have problems with artwork in a myriad of file formats (sometimes our clients send us Word docs, Power Point slides, really uncommon formats, or files from old versions of design software), or missing fonts. Ken's Quick Print offers good quality printing at fair prices for the neighborhood. They're a good shop, with good staff, and ought to be saved in the contacts list of every small business in the area.”

“I'm in my 60s, and this is without a doubt, the best UPS facility I have ever used. This is the second time I've gone there. I no longer live in the area, but when I'm up visiting my family, occasionally I have to ship something back home.
A little over a week ago I took some items that I did not have a box for. They went to the trouble to arrange my items in the most economical fashion possible. They charged me six dollars for the materials they needed, and in my opinion, after receiving my box and seeing how expertly it was packed, and with the degree of care they took, I honestly feel they should've charged me more. Not only for the main box that housed my items, but also for a bubble wrap envelope inside of an additional box they included for some books. I was honestly stunned when I received my box and opened it up.
I had also shipped some items one of the previous times I was in town (that time I had my own box) after trying one or two other UPS places in the area. They all pale in comparison to this location..
I've read some negative reviews on here and I really don't know what these people are talking about.
These guys couldn't be more friendly or accommodating, they excel at what they do, and their pricing is beyond fair and reasonable.
We seem to live in a world where nobody is good at their job anymore, or even seem to care whether they are, or not. Not here. It's a pleasure giving them my business.”
