If they really wanted to help people they would take UHC. My insurance showed the doctor in-network but when I went to make the appointment they said they don't have any doctors still with UHC. UHC will take them but I guess they don't pay enough so I am stuck taking prescription from doctors who think Holistic healing is quackery.

I have seen multiple doctors at this practice and every one has made me feel like a complete priority. For the first time in my life a dr told me he didn't know the answer to my question but promised to look into it and then did! Anyone looking for an alternative to sick care should come here! I highly recommend this practice.

Their web page specifically mentions how they don't leave their patients sitting in the waiting area for appointments. Yet for my consultation I sat there 30 minutes and then told she's running "a few minutes" behind after I asked what's going on. So disappointing. If I want to be treated that way, I can see my regular physician. ..... the reply left by the office is false!! Why wouldn't they tell me this story WHILE I AM STANDING AT THEIR FRONT DESK asking how long I have to wait????

I'll begin this review by stating this medical practice is unlike any I've seen in 48 years. And that's a great thing! I was in need of getting to the bottom of some GI issues that have plagued me for decades. Fed up with the average internal medicine, gastroenterologist, name your specialty , diagnosing and writing a script and gambling to see if the situation improves, I'd heard wonderful things about CFHM in Deerfield, IL. I made an appt quite easily, and I had presented to me several different types of specialists to chose from. Internal Medicine, Functional Medicine(an amazing field of medicine in my opinion) Naturopaths, Massage Therapists, Accupuncture, and more, I chose functional medicine. Dr Tutinokov is a wonderful, intelligent, great listener who has not only helped me to improve my GI symptoms but suggested ways that what I put into my mouth to eat (too much) affects how I feel. In 60 days I've not only lost 30lbs but learned to cook all organic natural real foods, that are actually good! And that's a small part of her functional medicine practice. Anyone that has pains, GI issues, fatigue, I believe she or the center will have someone here with the experience or knowledge to assist. The front office staff helps me with the myriad of tests that I needed to take offsite. And they are always pleasant. Daniel is one of the main therapists and we've met, if I wanted counseling, he'd be my guy too. Can't say enough good about this facility. Try it. Free classes relative to health and well being also are done frequently.

Had a lot of physical issues that the regular medical doctors solution was to just take a drug. While I can see that in a life threatening situation a drug might be needed as a temp solution but for headaches, fatigue....I thought drugs were bad..that there are side effects that do more harm than good. Wonder why street drugs are so bad when most medical drugs are afar worse.. In any case went to this Chiro, Dr. Davis - who did this strange muscle testing and he'd get me on these weird natural things. Hey, I'm not a doctor if I knew what was going on - I'd not only not have a problem but if I did I'd treat myself - right? So I just did what he said. Been now seeing him for about a decade - I don't have any of those problems and anytime something comes up they are handled asap. Went to a Medical doctor...they can't figure why I'm better..I guess when you go to school to learn about drugs for 6 of the 12 years, heath isn't really a required course. Look - if you are seeing a medical doctor - and it just isn't working - like anything that isn't working, you have to change what you are doing. Natural has been around far longer than medical, and again while in a serious situation I could see where an MD might help but if you need to heal up faster, fight a disease, stuff like that - while perhaps their way of taking care of you might seem strange - it works...if you let it.

I'm shocked at your review of the chiropractor there. I have been working with him for 6 years now and I'm only able to walk right now bcause of his magnificent insight into what exactly I need. There are times when the answer seems strange or unrelated but I put my trust in him and he has always been correct about which way to go. His muscle testing method has been invaluable to me. I also see the osteopath there and the MFR practitioner and I feel the same way about them. They all work together to give me the best possible outcome. I HIGHLY recommend them all. If you wouldn't go into an MD and tell them what to do in the way of treatment, then don't do it at any other health practitioner. Let them treat you in a manner that is safe for you and your baby. He would NEVER do anything to endanger your baby whether you ask for a particular adjustment or not. As for the oil, there are many, many different kinds of supplements that are natural and healthy ways to make some corrections without having to resort to medications. I'm on some meds (via my osteopath) but any problems that can be handled with supplements, I'm all for. Since you're pregnant, any supplemets would have to be checked out with your OB/GYN first. The externally applied oil would be a safe choice. I don't know if you've seen him before this but if not, it's really not fair to make such snap judgments, especially negative ones, You didn't say if you have been seeing him during your entire pregnancy or if this was a one-time visit. If he'd been treating you since the beginning of your pregnancy, he might have made different decisions. I am MUCH healthier than I was when I started to see him and I am immensely grateful for his help. He's also one of the kindest people I've ever met.

This place is great. it is run by Dr. Gore, a holistic general doctor and psychiatrist, who will oversee your treatment and direct you to the specialists that practice here. They do acupuncture, chiropractics, massage therapy, naprapathy, homeopathy, physical therapy, energy modalities, movement therapies, yoga classes, etc. If you come here with a problem, they've got more than one way to fix it and you'll walk away with a plan. They also have frequent workshops and lectures. Check them out here:
