“Avid Autosports went above and beyond with hosting me to come out view, inspect and purchase a 2016 porsche 911 991.1 Manual. I had been shopping for some time but this was the perfect build that was in my budget. I flew from North Carolina and Tyler picked me up from SPI Airport, we went to the shop where I received a tour of the AMAZING FACILITIES. AVID has some top notch inventory! We inspected the vehicle, I took it for a test drive and it was AWESOME, purchased the car and Tyler assisted me with putting TRACK ARMOUR on the car to protect it so I could drive back to NC. ALL of the deliverables were timely ad accurate. GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!”
“Hands down the best auto shop in town. If you need an HONEST mechanic and have been hosed in the past, this is the place to go. These guys are not out to make an extra buck off of you. They fix what is wrong, not what might go wrong. They don't bs you into a thousand dollar repair, in fact, they did exactly the opposite to me.
I was told that I need this and that by 2 other mechanics. I bought the parts and brought to them. I get a call from the owner that says, "Why did you buy all these parts? Who told you you needed this done? All of that is totally fine. Return those parts, you just need new tires." I was floored......FLOORED!!! He basically just turned away hundreds of dollars worth of work by being honest.
Well he turned down hundreds of work for that job, but I can tell you one thing, he'll get ALL of my business going forward. I tell every single person I know about that story and to go there if they have any issues with their cars. I have a wide group of friends who trust my opinion.

“I was traveling in Springfield, Illinois along Route 66 and a truck threw a stone and it hit my new 3 week old windshield and poof a nasty divot was found in the morning that would crack as soon as I started to use the heater. I saw Auto Glass Systems ad online, noticed it was close to the Cozy Dog where I had some business to do and stopped in for a quote. The price was fair and the employees were very friendly and the repair service was very quick ... and they even cleaned my bug-infested windshield! The best part was the repair was hardly noticeable at all and the price was super great one!!!”
“The lady at the front desk of the office gave me a nice warm smile. She was very helpful and Pleasant. I was able to get the pieces I needed for my car and I was a little stressed about the headlight in the front because I didn’t wanna get pulled over. The gentleman in the office came out he helped me put it in and Bob his helper was awesome as well. He didn’t think twice about it. They just jumped on the issue. They help put the pieces on for me
and a panel on my door because he knew how important it was that I didn’t wanna get a ticket and he could see that I was a little worried.They were wonderful. I can’t thank them enough. They truly help me. I will always recommend this place!! Very professional very polite thank you!”

“This place was great not only did they look at my car for free and give me a correct diagnosis but they also helped me get my money back from the previous shop I took my van to because they ripped me off and did a bunch of work with out asking me. Which is against the law in Illinois which I didn’t know. Until they told me. They were honest, fast, and basically told me the car wasn’t worth what it would cost to fix and I really appreciated that. Not only am I super grateful for this place but they also got a new customer.”
“One of my car windows randomly shattered and they were able to get it replaced in four days and did an amazing job. Would've been three if not for the holiday. “Saved my vacation! Check engine light on my F250 Diesel two days before leaving on a 2k mile vacation. I ran the code and then took it to the repair shop that does our oil changes. I specifically told them that this was the code and I need that fixed. They kept my vehicle for the day. The following morning my check engine light went on again - same code. Shop refused to do the work. My desperate search led me to Langley. It took them less than 5 minutes to fix the problem. They have a customer for life!”

“They recently did the tint on a new car I purchased and the owner was very thorough with explaining how the tint worked and helped me decide between normal tint and ceramic by explaining how they work differently from one another. He also made sure to let me know that while it was rare, sometimes tint would need to be reapplied for various reasons and that they would gladly take care of me if that were to happen.
I did end up having to get my back re-tinted but they were super friendly and easy to work with on it. The 2nd time came out near perfect so I couldn't be happier. If you have any doubts about getting tint, my suggestion would be to stop in and talk to them.
All in all, I couldn't be happier with their service and knowledge provided.”

“When I first called they asked me detailed questions about the symptoms I was experiencing with my vehicle. They gave me an accurate time frame of the repair stating that they were 3 1/2 weeks out on transmission rebuilds. They gave me a quote down to the cent which my wife appreciated. Addressed a few other known issues while they were working up on my truck and were very reasonable on price. I am super pleased with the service as well as the customer service. Thanks for getting my truck back on the road!”
“I had an amazing experience with Chris and I can't express my gratitude enough. Despite other mechanics failing to diagnose the issue, Chris was able to determine that my car's spark plug was not working. He quickly identified the problem and replaced the ignition coil and all the wires, which were supposed to have been switched during a previous tune-up elsewhere. After Chris left, I realized the issue was still present when I put the car into gear. I informed Chris, and he returned promptly to troubleshoot the issue. He tested every possibility and eventually discovered that the circuit board under the ignition coils was likely the source of the problem. He even found a replacement part for me and installed it for half the cost of a new component. Additionally, he performed the fastest oil change I've ever seen.Chris is knowledgeable, professional, and provides great customer service. He charged me only for part of the labor, proving that he values his customers more than just their money. He truly enjoys helping people, and I will never go to another mechanic again. I highly recommend Chris to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled mechanic.”

“Showed up early morning because my oil cap filter was leaking and I couldn’t get it off. They said they may be able to get to it that day based on if their appointments canceled. Well a few hours later they called me saying they got it replaced( I did have the replacement part already) and my oil changed. Charged me an extremely reasonable price and I couldn’t be happier with the service. The guys working there are professional, and courteous. 10/10”

“I recently rented a car and after picking it up realized the car was filthy. The rental car company did not have a detail crew to clean the car and there were no more rentals available. I went to Recon and was given the best and friendliest service I’ve ever had. I can not recommend enough how great the service was there. They got the car so clean for me and removed stains that were probably there for months. A+ company.”
