Walter, the owner of the shop is a miracle worker. I recently bought a Frankenstein of a Camaro that was owned by a hack. Most of the parts are not original or for the car and it gave me transmission issues. I took the car to this place and Walter was not only able to make sense of all the insanity with the car but got it running right. He was able to tell me so much about the car that i didn't know. The best part is it was pretty cheap. 10/10 if people ask me where to take their cars I tell them Jeff's in Riverside. Walter knows his stuff

Wow! Reminds me of my old trusted mechanic who retired. Had an unexpected car trouble while away from home. My friend suggested Jeff's after recently going there for an oil change. He took care of my car the same day. Highly recommend!

This is a really great garage! Pricing is extremely fair, work is very quickly done, and all staff are very polite and professional. We were really impressed and will be using them for all of our auto repair needs in the future.

Hi ? Just as an FYI! I’m writing ✍️ this review live from the Annual Riverside Christmas Walk! And I want everyone to know that this family owned business had, in my humble opinion, the best food ? and entertainment of this year’s Walk period! They usually give away a free styrofoam cup of Nestle Hot Cocoa with Marshmallows! Which IS always awesome ?! But this year I arrived late due to a freight train ?! So I noticed that the OPEN sign was still on the front of the building repair shop, so I walked in and was pleasantly surprised ? that a LIVE band comprised of family members who own the shop along with some of the owners friends were playing to about a dozen people who enthusiastically clapped after every outstanding musical ? number (the band performed everything from traditional Christmas ? songs to classical music like Braumns 5th symphony to old Czech songs!).It was simply the BEST entertainment I have ever seen on the annual Walk, period! Plus, they offered food—all beef ? hotdogs, cup of chili, bratwurst, and even hot spiced wine (for those over 21). And unlike other businesses in town I was pleasantly surprised ? when I asked how expensive the chili was? The family member responded that all the food was FREE! And to ask for seconds if I do desires because there was plenty of food for everyone! Yes! The True Giving And Sharing Spirit of Christmas ? is Alive and Generously provided courtesy of this wonderful family-owned business in the Village in a Forest ? Riverside Illinois at 20 E. Quincy Street!Please Give These Wonderiful Family your business! Thank You ?and God Bless Everyone!

If you don’t want to be surprised with a huge bill, stay away.I called this place a week before my appointment to get an estimate or ballpark quote for an auto repair, but they said they couldn't provide it unless they saw my car in the shop first, which is understandable. But the day of my appointment, they never offered me a quote before repair (which riverside garage does) and just proceeded with the repair then gave me an invoice that was double the price Riverside Garage quoted me weeks before. I even provided Jeff's with the auto parts so he only charged me for labor. I believe this was a very unfair price for the job and they should’ve contacted me beforehand with a quote.I should've waited for Riverside Garage, but they were too busy to book me this week and I needed a repair soon, what HUGE mistake. Not coming here again.
