I can’t say enough good things about Athletico in River Grove. All the therapists and support staff are amazing. After surgery in February I was convinced there was no way I would walk again, let alone return to sports. Then I met Adam. Adam is super professional, personable, and an expert physical therapist. He motivated me on the bad days and pushed me on the good days. 5 months later I was back to normal and feeling better than ever. I’m sad that my time here is coming to an end. If you need physical therapy this is the place to go!

I absolutely love going to PT here! This location has been phenomenal on so many fronts! You're greeted with a smile every single time you walk in. The staff is so friendly and help create an environment where the patients feel at ease. Within my first 2 days there, I noticed the relaxed social atmosphere of talking with other patients and physical therapists. It's so safe to know that, even if it's not exactly what you're dealing with, there are others in a similar tough spot who also have to work hard and through a physical limitation.Though the atmosphere is relaxed, I've never once worried I wasn't getting all the assistance and help I need. The PT's are attentive, knowledgable and experienced in what they do. Their knowledge and experience of having helped others in my situation (ACL reconstructive surgery) helped give me confidence that this process is doable. They are respectful of your time and will take you right at the time of your appointment. I've never had to wait.David is the physical therapist I've been working with and I couldn't be more grateful! I was pretty nervous going into this because it's not something I've done before, I had no idea what to expect and I didn't know if I would feel comfortable at this place. But from day 1, David has made me feel comfortable and supported as I recover from surgery. He does a great job of pushing me to my limit without going over or going too easy. I leave feeling stronger in my knee and more confident that this is a process that I WILL overcome. I'm a social person, so being able to have a PT who is not only easy to talk to, but is just as willing to ask you a question about yourself as you are them has been a HUGE help. I look forward to every PT appt here and I know that wouldn't be possible without the amazing staff!

I cannot say enough about this location or therapy I'm recieving from David for my planter faciitis issues. My foot is 75 percent to 80 percent better since I first started coming here 2 weeks ago. Jake is also a great help... My husband suggested this AthletiCo because he had issues with his hip and knee and was very satisfied too. Kudos to the whole staff, especially David and Jake..

I love this location and I love the staff here. They’re always so kind, friendly, and polite. The physical therapists really hear you out and work with you in a safe, clean, and warm environment. The professionalism is outstanding and so are their empathetic sides. Thank you for helping me get thru this difficult time in my life.

I had Adam as my therapist. He always makes time for me no matter what time of day I need. He does a great job explaining what is going on with my injury and what exercises will help it. Jake is an aide there and he works really hard with helping patients, keeping the clinic clean, and running the front office. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone.

I had been struggling with lower back pain, I have been doing therapy with Adam for 3 months and I feel so much better. I definitely recommend booking your first appointment with him.I have also been seeing Stefanie, I was experiencing pain and inflammation in my hands. Coming to see an OT specialist was the first step to recovery, Stefanie has taught me how make changes in my day to day to prevent pain. The exercises have made me improve greatly.The entire staff is pleasant and helpful. Jake and Kelly have helped me the most.

I was referred here after I spiral fractured my pinkie finger in a car accident. The OT, Stephanie is fantastic and helped me gain back functionality regarding my hand. She worked with my schedule of college classes, practices and work. I would 100 percent recommend that you come here for therapy.

I came to athletico after I injured my hand due to an unprovoked attack by a Castor canadensis. Also known as a flat tailed beaver. I had almost lost my life and use of my left hand. They had me work with Stephanie. She has a vast amount of knowledge and expertise in the field of hands. After months of physical therapy, rabies shots, and counseling for ptsd. I was able to gain back full function of myhand and I am now able to live my life to the fullest. I would recommend her to anyone. Kristina and Adam are cool too.

I have been going for PT in River Grove since 2001.Everyone loves their Physical Therapist, but everyone seems to forget the remarkable Rehab Aides who assist the Therapists whenever & wherever they are needed.I have had the pleasure of interacting with one absolutely remarkable young man named Jake who has been at the River Grove Athletico for years. Jake can multi-task like no one I have ever seen. Right when the Co-vid restrictions were easing up, there were days & weeks when Jake was the ONLY Rehab Aide at the facility. Jake would be answering the phones, cleaning the equipment, wiping down the physical therapy tables, doing the laundry and assisting the therapists---all with a smile on his face and never complaining. It was like watching "The Flash" to see him in action during these demanding days. Jake is friendly, personable and knowledgeable and it has always been a pleasure to interact with him.It's obvious that Jake is a dedicated employee and Athletico should be proud to have him as part of their team.- Donna Cantalupi

I have had nothing but 5-star sessions at Athletico in River Grove, and would particularly like to acknowledge and thank my therapist, Cory Block, for his efforts in helping to get me back to full strength. All of the therapists I have worked with at this location are a cut above, but Cory is the best! Thank you Cory!
